Elves
The Elves, also known as the Gendilon, are one of the three races created by Deusa at the dawn of the world. The Elves are the only race to retain their immortality after they cursed all other living beings (though it was only intended to affect Man) to age and die. Those Elves created by Deusa or born during the Claradeus are considered to be High Elves, and are imbued with greater magic. As the original elves, the High Elves have come to govern over those born since the destruction of the Claradeus, these subsequent elves being known as Common Elves (though commonly referred to as just Elves). Elves who have been corrupted by or joined the Eternal Crusade are unofficially called Dark Elves. There are very few Dark Elves, as the act of forsaking your kin for an Elf comes with the loss of magical power. However, dark magic may be imbued into a Dark Elf by other dark magic beings, as their bodies are capable vessels for magic.
