Yesterday I noticed about 5 pages across three notebook sections vanished, taking all my game prep in those pages with them. Is there a way to get them back?
Not really reproducible. All the pages but one from my notebook vanished.
Hey there keriley! I am so very sorry to hear that. World Anvil has no way to delete or move any note pages in any way (the code is nowhere written literally) Are you sure that you or someone else with access to your account hasn't moved them ? I can even search for them under your account if they haven't been deleted and tell you where they are.
So I checked my other notebooks in my other worlds. In the worlds where I already had notebooks, the notebooks for that world were all accounted for. But the worlds that didn't already have notebooks showed the notebooks of the last world that had a notebook that I'd pulled up. None of them had the missing notebook pages. The only other person with access to my account is my husband and he doesn't ever log in as me. The missing pages and sections are from my Changeling M.C. account if you'd be able to search them. I definitely didn't delete them. One last thing, I have been having a problem that comes up sometimes when I go to access my notebooks and I get a notification that says I need to upgrade my account to get access to this feature. I click away from the popup and click on "Notebooks" again and it always lets me access them after that, but it's come up 2 or 3 times, if that's relevant at all.
Hello! When you say you "go to access my notebooks and I get a notification...", how are you accessing the Notebook? Are you clicking the link at the top of the sceen in the main navbar, or are you accessing it from another link somewhere else? When you dismiss the notification and then try again, are you using the same link (that opened the popup) but it works? Or are you using a different link?
I'm clicking the link in the main navbar. And yes, after I dismiss the popup, I click the same button up in the main navbar and it works.
It doesn't happen all the time, but it's happened twice in the last 30 days or so and once earlier this morning (which reminded me to bring it up today).
