I created a content tree of locations, with most of the nodes linking to articles for that location. When the tree is embedded in an article, hovering over the article nodes displays the article excerpt. However, I have since modified or added excerpts for multiple locations, and the content tree continues to only display what the excerpt was at the time the node was added to the tree. I primarily use static trees, but I've checked and the excerpt doesn't update in other versions of the tree, either. Deleting the node and re-adding it shows the updated excerpt, until the excerpt gets another update.
1. Add article nodes to a content tree. 2. Embed the tree in an article and see the article nodes display the current article excerpts. 3. Change any of the excerpts. 4. Check the tree again and it will not show the changes. 5. Delete and re-add the node and it will show the changes.
Hey there :) This is not a bug that is there by design so you can lock the names.
That's really unfortunate, now I'll have to redo my content tree every time I update article excerpts :(
