Unable to login to world anvil via custom domain, returns the following: Cookie “WA_SESSID” has been rejected for invalid domain. Domain URL Login URL I have followed the guide on setting up a Custom Domain as per conversation with 'Xuroth' everything else works except the login. I am using a link at the bottom of the page to provide login url, as white labelling is enabled on the website. I have tested in multiple browsers, and with several other people.
Use the link at the bottom of page on Custom Domain URL supplied above.
Hello! I've confirmed the login does not appear to be working for custom domains. Thanks for reporting!
yeah... this needs fixing before I'll consider custom domains. it essentially invalidates other high-level features. please let me know if you need help testing or otherwise
Hey there guys - this is not a bug, it was never part of the feature set to allow login via custom domains. The custom domains are there to allow peopel to have public worlds that share with their fans, not to make use of the advanced privacy features of World Anvil <3
Can I suggest that this limitation be clearly noted on the Sage features page? The way the site is currently worded makes these features appear to be part of the same package, which is why I bought Sage in the first place. I wanted to build a branded site experience, but that is not actually possible if custom domains do not support login or access-controlled content. As written, the Sage features are misleading. They imply that custom domains, white labelling, password-protected articles, subscribers, and access codes function together as one package, when they apparently do not. That needs to be stated clearly before purchase, because it materially affects the value of the subscription. For reference, this is the Sage feature list on your website, one would assume reading this they all work together. Which are my sage exclusive features?
This severely limits the usefulness of a custom domain. All of the community features are now useless when using your own domain. This also includes liking/following/commenting and monetizing through your own domain through subscriptions.
