I seem to have created a manuscript instead of a prose, as an article. Was working with a Prose Article and wanted to create and link the next chapter of my prose, so I tried to create the "next" prose article. Thinking I was under article navigation instead, I attempted to create and link a new article under the article's Sections-->Sidebar Sections-->Associated Manuscripts, "Create and Link a New Article". (this option is not exclusive to prose). It did not ask for an article type, just a name, and created...something. Despite seeing the new "article" in my Dashboard, it does not give me a UI when I click it, and it won't load in Articles. The link itself gives me a 404 so I can't edit it through page controls either. Since I can't access it, I can't delete it. Can someone please remove the https://www.worldanvil.com/w/luridity/a/xicians-1-2-manuscript "article" from my Luridity world? Repro steps for creating a "manuscript article" are provided. :) Thank you!
1. Open an article (I was in a prose article.) 2. Under Sections-->Sidebar Sections--> there is Associated Manuscripts. 3. click the "Create and Link a New Article" button. 4. type in the name and hit Create. 5. https://www.worldanvil.com/w/luridity/a/xicians-1-2-manuscript was created. It can be seen in the list of articles in my Dashboard, but does not load. Manually entering the address in the browser brings up 404. It is also not a manuscript, and does not show up there. 6. I would like it removed from Luridity as it appears to be causing other issues with my world (see end of bug report). I can't find a way to delete this "article" myself as I can't bring it up. I have another article https://www.worldanvil.com/w/luridity/a/xicians-1-2-prose that IS working and should not be deleted, however the manuscript "article" is definitely a problem.
Manuscripts do appear, but only manuscripts that are connected to the world.
(Sorry, yes! Clarifying: if it was supposed create a manuscript in that world it did not; I don't see it on my manuscripts page and cannot load it in that dropdown for Luridity.)
The underlying bug as been fixed already, i need to find a way to clear the "bad article created
Just a quick update on my end: the article does show up in an api call, but still can't figure out a way to get it gone. article ID: 6cc4a98d-d86a-46f3-b246-0c3274bf4294
Can you confirm it's fixed ?
Yay! It is all better and I can search again. Thank you!
