Euclid and Plato editors do not always save article @ links

Sometimes I will try to use the @ article link feature in an article's description, and then use the autocomplete feature to pick an article. Then, when I switch to view mode to see what I've done, it is missing both the autocomplete and the link.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Type @ in an article 2. Start typing in an article link 3. Select desired link 4. Switch to view mode

Hello, if you type any character (punctuation, space, etc.) after selecting the linked article, and THEN go to view mode, does it save correctly? The autosave system runs by detecting keypresses, so this may be necessary in order to trigger the save.
