Bilgewater Cutlass

Weapon Finesse, Light Common

The most common type of weapon across all of the men and women that call the sea their home. Their speed and agility their most defining trait, able to parry attacks with ease. Their curved blades visually distinct from most other bladed weapons.
 

Parry

The wielder, three times per short rest may consume their reaction to attempt to parry an incoming attack made with a melee weapon. To do so, the wielder rolls 1d20 + their Dexterity modifier + proficiency (if proficient), if this is equal to, or greater than the to-hit roll of the incoming attack the wielder takes half damage. This roll must be made before they know the damage.
