Fey Eyes. Rhoqar has advantage on perception checks against targets in darkness.   Shadow Form. Rhoqar has advantage on stealth checks in darkness.   Magical Attacks. Rhoqar's attacks count as magical.   Melee Caster. Rhoqar's ranged spell attacks do not get disadvantage from being adjacent to enemy creatures.   Shadow Leap. Rhoqar's jump distance and height is tripled.


Actions

Multiattack. Rhoqar makes 1 claw attack, 1 bite attack, and 1 shadowball attack.   Claws. Melee Weapon Attack: +13 to hit, reach 5ft., one target. Hit 2d4+7 slashing damage.   Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +13 to hit, reach 5ft., one target. Hit 1d8+7 piercing damage and the target becomes grappled (DC 16 athletics check to escape). The target must make a DC 21 Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, they take 4d6 poison damage, or half as much on a successful save.   Shadowball. Ranged Spell Attack: +13 to hit, range 60/120 ft., one target. Hit 8d6 cold damage.  

Bonus Actions

Spreading Darkness. Rhoqar spreads darkness wherever he treads. A 10 ft. radius sphere of magical darkness appears at a point he chooses within 120 ft.

Reactions

Shadow Dodge. When Rhoqar is hit with an attack, he may half the damage he takes from it.


 

Legendary Actions

Rhoqar takes one legendary action per round, they occur at the end of an enemy creature's turn, with the exception of Consume.   Shadow Warp. Rhoqar teleports 120 ft. to any, unoccupied space in shadow.   Consume. At the start of the turn of a creature that Rhoqar has grappled, he opens his ribcage and attempts to engulf them in his dark innards. The creature makes a DC 21 Strength saving throw. On a fail they take 15d6 force damage, or half as much on a successful save. If consume reduces a creature to 0 hitpoint, it instantly dies and it's body is consumed by Rhoqar, destroying it.   Shadow Detonation. Any enemy creature in magical darkness within 300 ft. of Rhoqar makes a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, they take 4d8 cold damage, or half as much on a successful save. All instances of magical darkness within 300 ft. of Rhoqar doubles in size. A 20 ft. radius sphere of darkness appears centered on Rhoqar.
