Hit: 25 ( 4d10+4 ) fire damage.   Sculpted Explosion (Recharge 4–6). Morsa unleashes a magical explosion of a particular damage type: cold, fire, lightning, or thunder (she tends to pick fire unless the enemy is obviously resistant or immune to fire). The magic erupts in a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on a point within 150 feet of her. Each creature in that area must make a DC 16 Dexterity saving throw. Morsa can select up to three creatures she can see in the area to ignore the explosion, as she sculpts the energy around them. On a failed save, a creature takes 40 ( 9d8 ) damage of the chosen type and is knocked prone. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage and isn’t knocked prone.   Spellcasting (Evoker). Morsa casts one of the following spells, using Intelligence as her spellcasting ability (spell save DC 16):

Legendary Actions

Morsa can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature’s turn. She may move up to her speed as part of a legendary action. She regains spent legendary actions at the start of her turn.

  • Bring the Hammer. Morsa uses Attention of Solusek Ro against an adjacent creature (within 5 feet).
  • Mana Dump. Morsa casts a spell, including those listed as bonus spells.
  • Voice of the Desert (Recharges after a Short or Long Rest). Solusek Ro speaks through his prophet with a thunderous voice audible within 300 feet. Creatures of the Morsa’s choice that can hear Solusek Ro’s words (which are spoken in Ignan) must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or be frightened of Morsa for 1 minute. While frightened the target flees in a random direction away from Morsa, moving its full speed and taking the Dash action. It can take no other actions except to defend itself if attacked. A frightened target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Morsa Kinkiller became a cleric of the Burning Prince because she believed he was most likely to aid her in her quest to destroy all the elven races. Her hatred of elves stems from a troubled childhood when she was betrayed to a band of dark elves by her greedy brother, captured and mistreated. She blames all elves for the acts of these renegades, and has sought their destruction ever since. She has already taken out her vengeance on her brother.   Morsa came to Befallen hoping to conquer it herself for the glory of Solusek Ro, and lead its undead armies against Neriak. When she discovered Marnek Jaull in control of the place, she offered her services to him in return for a promise to aid her against her al of Neriak once Jaull had recovered his full power. Jaull made her his agent on the second level, and placed her in charge of overseeing the acolytes and keeping tabs on Gynok Moltor and Redak Brokenskull.
