Manuscripts is World Anvil's novel-writing software. You can use it to write, edit, and even publish your stories with a seamless integration with your world. If you'd like to delete a scene or a chapter on Manuscripts, then follow these steps:
How to delete a chapter or a scene
1st Way
- Access Manuscripts by clicking Manuscripts in the left sidebar.
- Select the chapter or scene that you want to delete from the list on the left.
- Click on the gear icon on the right.
- Scroll down and click the Move to Trash button.
- Your chapter/scene will not be permanently deleted, it will be moved to the bin folder at the bottom left.
2nd Way
- Access Manuscripts by clicking Manuscripts in the left sidebar.
- Drag and drop the chapter or scene from the list on the left, to the bin folder on the bottom of that list directly.
- Your chapter/scene will not be permanently deleted, it will be moved to the bin folder at the bottom left.
How to delete a chapter
3rd Way
- Access Manuscripts by clicking Manuscripts in the left sidebar.
- Select Review mode at the top right of your screen.
- Click on the delete button on the top right of the chapter.
- Your chapter will not be permanently deleted, it will be moved to the bin folder at the bottom left.
Changes in the Manuscripts interface are saved automatically!
