This imposing mural graces the tide-facing wall of the Drowned Throne, within Thal’vanna’s temple-palace in Azurlith. Painted in burnt kelp dye, coral-crushed mineral pigments, and voidglass-ink, it depicts the moment—real or mythic—when Queen Thal’vanna quelled the First Leviathan Rebellion with nothing but her will, her voice, and the surge of Aquavanthe’s divine current.
  Maelor Virell, a devout artisan from the Ember Trench Protectorate, was said to have painted this in full trance, guided by harmonics sung from the Echo Halls of Steam. Notably, the sea monsters’ writhing forms are rendered in spiraled sigils designed to trigger Oceanmind resonance in Tidebound who gaze upon it too long.
