Personal history

Natasha grew up in a Changling community and had a loving group of people surrounding her.

Her parents had taken her into Tonnta to do some business. They had Natasha with them to socialize her into fitting into the rest of society. There was extreme social unrest in the city due to corrupt policies by The Fluctus Church and Knights of Tempest.

Natasha was downstairs in the tavern while her parents were upstairs bargaining services from Knights of Tempest. She didn't quite understand what was being negotiated at the time. She had run upstairs to tell her parents that she was bored and hungry just in time to see the knights brutally and swiftly murder her parents.

She ran immediately down the stairs with the guards running after her, ran out the door, and changed into the crowd.

She was terrified to transform back to her natural form to be seen by the guard. She wandered alleys and soup kitchens in different forms. Luckily she could change into large adults to scare away bullies or predators when needed.

During one of those run-ins, a chance encounter was witnessed by Madame Ava, a "priestess" of the Morrigan. Ava saw it as a sign of the Morrigan that she had found this shapeshifter who seemed emotionally young and alone.

Natasha was lured back to "Alice's Boarding School of Etiquette for Young Girls." The self-proclaimed "priestess of the Morrigan" lured her with promises of food for being so "special and strong." Natasha was delighted to find food and shelter.

The school was a front to train young girl orphans as assassins/weapons in the name of the Morrigan. Girls learned the etiquette of the highest of society. They also learned ballet, rapier, archery, and manipulation.

The school made most of their income from the girls being hired to take out hard-to-reach targets.

Madame Ava was a hard-to-please woman. She was strict and cold, but Natasha found solace in her classmates who adored their new friends, making them laugh with different forms. One of those friends, Vestra Aramnier, was a talented dancer and was highly graceful in combat.

As Natasha grew older, she adapted quickly to the assassin lifestyle since it allowed her out of the temple. She also was a bit of a show-off.

Poisoning cards in a card game where the target was eating finger foods. Killing targets by posing as a chef at dinner and feeding them food would cause a lethal allergic reaction. Madame Ava found this irksome and a disregard for tradition. She often scolded and lectured Natasha on using her martial skills instead of "prideful and distasteful pranks."

Natasha and Vestra would spend free time roaming for trouble on Tonnta's streets. Natasha took her flair for dramatics to work, using crushed-up oranges as vomit to cause distractions while Vestra picked pockets. She walked into temples while taking the form of the temple's deity, telling the worshippers to abandon all their materials wealth to her for a favor from their diety. She told the guard of the guard that she had an excellent deal on a seaside property that she could take a down payment to let him tour the location (to his misfortune).

She started quite the crew of young con artists as she became older.

Education

Mental Trauma

Natasha long-time girlfriend and teams were murder at the hands of followers of The Unmaker. She was betrayed by a member of her team, Terrowin. She has yet to talk about this in-depth with anyone or process her grief.
