The things you do for family

Having your face on a wanted poster is both awesome and kinda scary at the same time, but my Mom took care of that for me. All I had to do was find this ring that one of her friends had when they met someone named Numier.
 
I met up with my good friends Bruno, Norixius, Ivellios, and uh someone else. We spent 3 days camping out to reach our destination. We battled hoards of monsters throughout our time on the road, but we are awesome so it wasn't any trouble.
 
We reached the abandoned fort, which was east towards the Meadow Glades. There we heard a lot of commotion which was weird since we were told they were a loner. What we saw though were 4 Bugbears trying to beat down a really solid door. Though honestly the 1 bugbear was just looking at the other beat the door.
 
Ivellious came up with the idea to use the shape of the merchant from our other walk in the woods to make himself look tasty and lead them on a chase, while the rest of us got the door open.
 
It worked like a charm, the bugbears took off after Ivellious and we were able to open up the door super easy. I waited by the door for Ivellious while the other took a look inside. When Ivellious got back he talked about how he set them on fire and they were killing themselves, wish I'd seen it. Sounded super amazing.
 
So when we were inside I told Ivellious to watch were he stepped because there were traps on the floor that Norixius had marked. He wasn't paying attention and accidentally stepped on one and got shot in the neck with a dart. Maybe next time he'll listen.
 
I threw up a Locate Object so that we could find the ring. The spell led us downstairs to a room with a door that wasn't rotted off. There was alot of water on the floor and one spot looked like it was super deep. Ivellious used a mirror to see through the crack in the door and we found Numier sleeping like a baby on top of a large pile of treasure...
 
Mom forgot to mention they were a black dragon :-(
 
With my help, Ivellious was able to find the ring and a bunch of magical stuff. Norixius was able to lift a couple of gems from the pile. We were out the door when we heard a loud crash from upstairs, the bugbears were back!
 
We quickly drank some potions of water breathing and quickly dove for the deep end of the water and hid. Numier finally had it with the bugbears and went to go deal with them. 2 of our members took the opportunity to raid some more of the dragons hoard while Ivellious kept a lookout with his owl outside.
 
Poor bugbears... We were able to get out without being seen through the underwater passageway that lead out of the fort. We made our way back to Mom and were welcomed into the family.
