Cold in the cell, how did I get here?

Attempting to gather more information on the good brought to me by Callista she is cryptic as usual but vanishes quickly. stolen goods, a hint but keeps my fathers legacy of theivery alive i suppose.

Following her leads to an alleyway and an elf, freshly stabbed. Did Callista attack her? she was gone in a flash and the captain of the guard finds me. I'm an easy mark with these circumstances.

If not for the good paladin I would easily be doomed to take the blame.

I need to investigate to hopefully save myself.

I shouldn't be surprised at this turn of events.
