Ambush!!! or not???

My friends deescalated. BabaYaga lives!!! He might snap later, ill keep an eye on him. I can only hear some of what they're saying, damn boarded barn....something about them are the ones who put out the contract, She doesn't want the townsfolk to know, ???? Wayside - magic shop? I should go meet up with them, but something is still watching me, ill wait a little longer. Meeting at town center before going out on mission? Clement is trying to convince her of something, like always fails and gets no "real" information but atleast discerned stuff "god" is coming from the north of town.
 
I stayed up, taking first watch making sure nothing comes at us while we rest. I hear something...(keeper of peace,sherrif) Rusk speaking to tavern owner, Hemena. They are very friendly to each other business like even. Hemena is talling Rusk to keep an eye on us. "they are not discreet", she said. I would love to tell her we're very discreet. She thinks we're gonna leave too!!!! What a bitch she attacked us and now says this crap! I'll tell the others that they want to deal with us. Hemana is pretty submissive to Rusk. Note to self: "Rusk pulls the weight around here." Time to bed for now........

We're up the next day, Clement suggests going to the magic shop mentioned earlier. There are folks here now but not that many. This place sounds like its called "the Sideways Wayside" on the southside of the town....Oh wow this place lives up to its name, its actually sideways.
 
The Magic Shop
This lady is fancy with her familiar and dressings. Johnny is trying to trade that silence wand, very smart. She appears to like the item. I was very successful at bargaining for some great items. Honestly, sherloque would never do this good. She even offered us a discount for next time...if we come back ofcourse, I wonder if she just thinks we wont be coming back. She is at a cross roads so merchants and adventurers go through here, ill ask for any info she can part with us. I convinced her for a favor and some information, this is what she knows:

-Hemina has been tavern owner for long time, kind hearted patron, never overcharges, she is a patron for the people.
-De'savoues (Rusk and Yort) havent been here as long but also nice and friendly.
 
Something is off when she speaks of the Desaivoys. I think she might be charmed. Getting her out of this charm later might make her owe me a favor, *smirk*.
 
Johnny leads the way at first and does a great job keeping an eye out for things....he should lead us more often, Clement would have gotten us lost by now....Clement is taking the lead now -.- he'll probably lead us the wrong way...I was wrong, he lead us to a pack of "wolves?" He has reached a new low....looking around this place appears to have a mist at the floor, ground is kinda bad for me to sneakily crawl around.
 
Avalanche says there are wolves but says the're drooling acid??? wtf!!, Ill go into the mist for now and back them up in case they run into trouble. I see a few wolves in hidden in the trees, might be able to sneakily take them out but ill look around for now some more in case something else pops up. Avalanche will prbably be charging in soon. It smells bad too coming from SE area.
 
Johnny is a savage at attacking these things, he blew one up in front of me....Holy shit they're right in front of me!!! I should probably stop writing with these wolves in front of me they might hear me...storms a brewing it seems....now's theres lightning, probably some new shit clement learned....avalanche got hit by something from the tree....its the tree itself!...I shot a wolf in the ass and fuckin' obliterated it, that was awesome!!! Avalanche would have loved that had he not been grappled by the vines from the tree.
 
I'm engaged with a single wolf right now and missed, cant believe i missed....i got this time in the ass again and it died. the one next to it blew up this time with lightining, spectacular show, Clement always somehow comes back from his failures everytime.
 
We gathered some stuff from the wolves, their mandables, its time to keep going now in search of this woodlands god.
