Onwards after the Wolves

We continue to walk into the forest in search of this goddess? god? deity? something..... thats been taking/killing people. Random rattling is weird. Its getting closer, towards Clement...Typical....something is hitting his shell. Theres bones all around him, im sure we'll figure it out the more we go into the forest.
 
Avalanche looks like he caught a whiff of something. Looks like hes hungry im sure this will be interesting. We found it, does he want to get high? Theres about 16 mushrooms around a tree glowing "magically". Clement is gonna try to harvest them. Clement says these mushrooms have the effect of the spell "Enlarge/Reduce". Since he isn't good at anything he says that its a 50/50 chance it'll enlarge or reduce. If he learned his trade better we might get better odds.
 
Clement is leading us again, he started going one way then looked the other way and started going in another direction. Did he notice something or does he really just have no idea where he's going and is actually lost?.....we walked us to this tree with fruits, apples maybe?, Clement is gonna try one of these apples, he said its a Primal Fruit?....it has healing properties of some kind (3d8+4).
 
Avalanche suggests we take a rest. He got hurt pretty badly last time, this grove is a pretty good place to rest. Johnny thinks he can carry me??? I pulled a knife on him and he dropped me but I fell flat on my face.
 
Avalanche is looking better after taking the rest and eating the apple. Clement was very convincing and lifted me up and I got the last apple. He humiliates me and then he only gives me one apple

Clement found an old trail and we beging to follow it. Doesn't look like anyones been here in a while. There's a structure/building coming into view. Looks like an old cemetary/mausoleum...Clement believes we should advance stealthily for once I agree with him. Ill keep an eye out for traps while we push forward and reach this gate. There are no traps and I was able to open these rusted gates, never doubted myself.
 
Johnny cast silence in the area to open the gates and avalanche opened it up with by hitting the gates with the crowbar....thats one way to do it.
 
I put my cloak on to see whats around. There's some chittering from the squirrels in the area ill tell the guys about these.
 
Something threw acid at us!!! We need to be careful going forward. Something is coming!!! I opened the everlasting smoke bottle, I think that might've been a mistake...we can't see....I dont know how everyone else is doing i gotta keep moving forward to try to beat this thing trying to kill us.
 
AAAhhhhhh this bile almost got me completely but i was able to move at the last minute but still got me. Ill keep going forward. I need to be more careful going forward.
 
After a long grueling battle against a tree thing i was able to snipe the crap out of it. Avalanche was swallowed, clement, to no ones surprise, just stayed away from the battle and was being choked by a tree the whole time. Johnny did awesome against this tree thing as well. He even pissed it off by landing on its head in his raven form. He also killed the poor tree that tried its best trying to get to Avalanche the whole encounter but died. Hahaha...
 
The "god" is now dead we think......
