Mission Notes: The King Is Dead, Long Live The Queen (Lv. 1)

We take Garu and Rello and head for the bridges, trying to get them out of town, to Tace Soldado's home. We're stopped by the rioting crowds near the gate, who look ready to tear the young nobleman they have cornered limb from limb. We intercede, incapacitating them, but not killing anyone. After the fight, the noble introduces himself as Amin Gelento and explains that he was trying to get back to his dormitory when the riots broke out.
 
A masked figure drops from the shadows and reveals himself to be Blackjack, legendary hero of Korvosa and children's bedtime story protagonist. He appreciates that we chose not to kill the common folk and agrees to get Garu and Rello safely across the bridge if we will return Amin to his school. After a prolonged fight with some imps that should have been easier than it was, we get him back to school and head to Alk's to deal with our hostage - ideally before Batty's mom returns.
 
First, we must get through a mom of people pushing their way forward. Partway through, we noticed another Shoanti in the crowd, clearly hiding from some Iron Nails.
