First Books Now Trees

I was getting restless. Too many days of nothing but work, eat, sleep. needed more coin so I wandered over to the job board. As I approached I saw my friend Rhogar and another staring at the board. the other man was.... a curious sort. Gnar Bor he called himself. Had a great big furry-tusked mask on, I did not ask him to remove it...
 
We chose a job to work together on, A local Priest needed ingredients to complete a ritual before the Dead started with their yearly hubbub. Smart, uncontrolled Undead can be a danger to the public. best to make no pass zones for them.
 
We set out, and I have to say that Gnar, while eccentric is to say the least, is quite good at following his nose. he lead us straight to a tree with the required herb. While I tried to recover the plant for us the Damned tree attacked me!
 
Well, this did not sit well with us. between the three of us we made sort but violent work of it. finished collecting our sage and returned it to The priest.
 
After that, we went to the pub and celebrated....I don't remember much past that point....
