Dearest Martha,
I wonder if I made a good decision in bringing those three people on board. Lately, requests have become dangerous, and I fear for their safety. They seem to possess skills that have served them well. The caravan leader would not have recommended them if it weren't true, and I hope my instinct as a warrior will prove correct in my assessment that they will contribute and help us progress toward our desired goals.I know that you worry about me, but you need not. I assure you that I will do my best to return home to you safe and to also bring home those under my charge. For now, rest assured that all is in good hands.With love,
