The Battle of Cain (Pt. 1)

We made it. Almost. The ships broke through the shield protecting the city, but we were brought down by some kind of magical weapon, and we lost the sorceress. She's not dead - We managed to find her again, and the rest of the guard from our ship.
 
We just had a really tough fight with another hunters group - Red Vipers. From Valen. And this magical shield is also Valen… I'm concerned there's more to this. I managed to capture one alive, but barely. He wasn't coherent, he might have been permanently disabled but while I was still treating him… Baird shot him.
 
Our mission has changed - Not only do we need to destroy these pylons, we also need to destroy this weapon so more ships can enter the city. But first we have to get through this warzone. It's time to keep moving.
