I've got a bad feeling...

It's amazing how quickly the day can turn to utter shit. Things were fine for a while after we picked up that village of strays, all up until we came across this abandoned carriage. I, of course, wanted to investigate, you never know what kind of valuable treasure can be left behind. Except the carriage ended up not being quite so abandoned. A group of goblins had taken up residence inside, led by this weird looking red one. Several bad decisions later, the goblin is basically goo on the ground, Pepwell is a sobbing mess, Gremory has terrorized an entire village in one swoop, and Evelen is barely keeping the Fenines together.
 
We loaded back up afterwards and made it to the city without much more incident, but I really wish we hadn't. I don't know what it is, but everyone seems too... happy. Glad that the villagers are getting some help in the church, but I can't wait to finish this bounty and get out of here. This Mr. Mundone guy is totally creepy. First off, his entire demeanor just radiates weird, and he's got no sense of personal space. Plus he knew all sorts of things about me! I don't exactly hide that I target the rich and entitled, but how did HE know that? And when he shook my hand, I could've sworn he gave me this really sour look, even though he seemed to smile from the second we stepped in this room. At least he gave us some gold to help with catching the Eric guy.
 
Regardless, I can't wait to finish this job and move on.
