We be Fools

by Lunière

Under the light of the Waning Moon
I have drunk and divulged
Too much

Keep your own faith and keep away so-called faithkeepers. If dressed in yellow, kill them on sight. Godwin has been vociferous on this matter. Most of the other Ancestors hold a different view. I have taken both under advisement. Volodomyr is a priest. Despite appearances to the contrary. Warding him off would be deleterious. I think.

On the other hand, we have that blasted clergyman of Kaelus. He cajoled us into what seemed like a light-hearted evening of drinking, emblematic of the god he supposedly serves. But no. We had drinks aplenty, but that little cretin and his oh-so holy Rite consisted of him asking deeply personal questions and if the answer was less than satisfactory to whatever being was spiking our drinks then we received A FEELING that clearly signalled discontent on behalf of Kaelus. Kaelus stands for freedom, and I quite freely think that his priests are a cabal of dung-eating afternoon farmers if last evening was indicative of their services. Exploitative creep in a robe.

We were not forced to partake. We chose to. I chose to. I put my trust in a holy man. He should have been kept far away. I should have been loud about it.

If we do not disavow the dragon soon, we will be guilty of the very same. Bide, pretend, whatever. I will make restitution for the humiliation I endured, etiamsi dis aliter visum.

Also, that tree creature weirds me out. No bark, just spouts dreamy statements of joyousness and happiness and friendliness and other goodliness. To each their own.

Hodie mihi cras tibi.
