Everything is going as well as I could have hoped. If all continues to go as well as this mission did, I will finally be able to have my justice that I so desire.

The Count's research will be of vital importance to hunting down Stewart. I will make sure to keep in touch with him if any questions arise about the nature of Liches. After all, he does owe us quite a lot after the events that happened. When the time is right I will do my best to learn more about the nature of phylacteries and how the soul interacts with one. If my plans are to succeed, I must know everything there is to know. In other news, I received a strange letter upon return to my room. At the current moment, I am suspended from duties and have a meeting to go to on the higher floors. I am unsure about how to deal with that but I'm sure it'll all be resolved soon.

The encounter of the judge was a very unforeseen event. As it turns out, judges apparently don't bother to check bags that people carry. There's also a loophole that exists where I don't have to hand over anything that's not considered blasphemous. Since I care little about their little fanatical cult, I don't really know what's considered blasphemous and what's considered normal. As such, I managed to bring my little gem with me that the rest of the party didn't see me pick up. I don't understand how, but they seem to forget things that sometimes. You would think the party would remember the little stones that they all seem to fear. If all goes according to plan, this stone shall be the instrument of my justice. They may not be able to see it, but sometimes something evil can be used in such a good way. The gnome seems to have forgotten that he also carries one of these stones, I will enjoy the moment he remembers it.

The rest of the journal entry is filled with medical sketches of Dracula, the stone, and various undead
