The magician

A year passes, with Lydia leaving Iraeon after spending months trying to get him to open up. A little into Olarune of that year and Iraeon is walking the streets of Sharn, and spots a street magician performing magic. He's disinterested at first, but then the street magician calls him over and Iraeon goes with it. The magician asks Iraeon to picture in his mind the person he loves more than anything. Iraeon pictures Aeren, and is shocked when the magician conjures a perfect replica of her.
 
Iraeon can't get this memory out of his mind, he asks his mother to allow him to travel Khorvaire and study magic. She allows him, she hasn't seen Iraeon this adamant about anything since the accident, maybe even ever.
