Visions and Gods

We had a great time at the feast last night. We brought great honour with the wild pig and cat we hunted. Zando didn't seem too impressed but he is the Chieftain, it will take more than some dead animals to make him smile.
 
I got woke up by Syr running around and shouting, bloody idiot could raise the dead! Turns out Buka had been hit by a bolt from Storvo while he was in a tree, what's he done to anger Storvo this time? And why was he up a tree?! He's still alive but the idiot had better stop acting like a bird - keep your feet on the ground!
 
Buka woke up a little while ago. He seems....strange. He is talking about a promised land, darkness, Illuven...it's confusing. The Bone man said we need to go on this God Quest to find some land, so I guess we are going for a walk somewhere.
 
We have walked for almost a day heading in the direction Illuven had shown Buka. Not much has happened apart from spying some birds circling. This is a good sign! Where birds gather there is a good chance for food! Alas, Buka wants to avoid it because Illuven didn't show him birds. So we carry on.
 
We see the birds closer to us now on our right. I feel a pull to this place as though Daestrus is grabbing my arm and tugging. We see a large group of hunters leaving from that direction too. Too many to fight from what my friends tell me, I'm upset about this missed chance to sacrifice for Daestrus but Buka has finally agreed to head towards the birds! Daestrus's will has won out!
