Letter to Diana from Blacksands

Diana,
 
I'm dreamt about our wedding night as well. With the nature of our world I'd hardly call it a coincidence.
 
It seems I might be here for a time. The ruins are not visibly where they should be; I suspect they must be hidden somehow but we have yet to scale the cliff to see. And my compatriots have put in motion the beginnings of a guild. On one hand, having work come to us is a far better means of procuring funds for my research than hunting down sponsors. And having a more permanent work space would also be a godsend. On the other, it does mean I may be required to be away from home for longer stretches of time than I was originally planning. This would all be so much easier if the crossings were still available to us.
 
I'm hoping to make a trip back soon. I'm sure Cyrus will thrilled with the idea of outsiders entering the village, but I doubt traveling alone will be feasible. But I suppose we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
