...a wave of calm washes over me, as I feel a shiver once again. Seraphs voice boomed across the arguing and he spoke with them. Speaking with the more level headed Crayford named Hurley we decided he will accompany us to Nuecroft to identify the priest, in return we keep his family name out of our investigation, we agree IF they hand over the rest of the Natong Sleeping Stone.
I'm not sure how I feel about Sarin getting away with his part in this girls death, but I am also aware of what Mister Nuretski has said, people are aware of the damgers of overdosing on these tablets, so at least part of the blame falls on Auria herself. My biggest concer is this priest, I fear they will close ranks and he will get away with it unless we can find solid proof, dispite my hatred of the Church even I am not stupid enough to kill one in my current standing.
We headed back to Crow, had plenty to drink at the Dumpy Raven, a good evening was had all round. Mister Lux sang a song (which was ok, but pretty shit compared to the last time) and tried to avoid paying for a drink all night. I had a lonng chat with Mister Hopfoot about something he called a 'firework' which turned out to be some kind of exploding tube of light and sound, it was pretty impressive, but he wants 2 gold each for them! After a few drinks I decide it's time to take a bath, but with only 2 baths in the place I had to wait as both Mister Lux and Mister Hopfoot had beat me too it.
Seraph was also waiting, we finally got our turn and without even thinking I stripped, forgetting all about my tattoos and my scar. I avoided Seraphs question about the scar, but it's clear he recognised the tattoo on my back as pirate, luckily for me, he too seemed to bare the markings of a pirate. He told me of his sunken ship not a few days prior and asked me if I had anything to do with it. I assured him I didn't, though I cannot be sure if he believed me at all. Seraph also told me that my tattoo reminded him of the symbol the Govenor of Anchorage uses, but this persons name doesn;t ring a bell at all. He probably just stole took it after I was lost, theft is pretty much what we pirates do afterall.
It is interesting, he says their ship was set upon by three other ships and sank, but now I think on it more I have questions. Perhaps I can speak with him again on this matter.
2nd Sunwane
We wake and eat breakfast, once again without the Vagrant and Mister Nureski. Once we are all together we set off on our journey to Nuecroft. We talk amoungst ourselfs but a thick fog rolls in and everyone loses their minds. I am beginning to wonder how shelterd these peoples lives have been. If they think this is scary I do not look forward to them seeming a full blown storm at sea. We finally decide to continue on and unsuprisingly the fog clears.
I fucking hate walking, its boring and there is very little to do...at least that was my thought until we hear something rushing through the trees nearby...
