How do we know the Coster didn't supply these to the Redbrands? I guess they could have been stolen, or maybe they were given as a tax to avoid a fight. But maybe they are in league with one another and our problems are multiplying!
 
Everything makes me uneasy down here. I just need some fresh air to set my thinking straight. We should get out quickly. Wait where are they going?

I wonder if we can get a guide for Damaia. She really is terrible with directions.
 
We owe the Alderleaf's a greater debt now. First we cause the destruction of her barn, now we're risking her property by resting here like this. Doesn't sit well. Eethyl seems to think it's fine. How would he know? He knows so much. How?? Try not to think of it for now.
 
Oh, I can't speak rodent anymore. But he hasn't left so...he must be thankful to be saved from that horrible basement! New friend. I'll have to name him. Bitey? Bitey fits.
 
Wolfaen seems awfully vengeful tonight... I suppose that's nothing new. He killed the first redcloaks when they were restrained, he is devastating with that rapier, but at the same time he's usually so quiet. It's unnerving to hear him vocalize his blood lust. It's good to hear him say that he won't leave us, though. No real agenda with him it seems. Refreshing. Strange, but refreshing.
 
Well, this bar is dead. But...normal. Like a normal hole in the wall tavern. It was the main hangout for those thugs, the original proprietor would be celebrating and advertising if this place were really free of them. And if it's been truly taken over by the reds, and they were gone, it would be fully empty, not just mostly empty. Something isn't right here.
 
I can't think with that terrible music. Could've taken us up on our original offer to play here weeks ago. Something really isn't right here.
 
Bluebells, that barkeep slipped past. Maybe the dwarf woman has some clues for us.

He's so soft spoken, it's easy to forget that Keth is actually quite powerful. Short work of that trapdoor. Now who'll go down fi--HOLY Jackrabbits what the hayfield? When did this tiefling get here? How long?? Fortune who? Does every stray pup we happen across join us now?! At least make him useful and show some value before just pulling him in; he can go first.
 
Seems safe enough. How do they fill a cask this b- luebells! Secret door! Tunnel! Yes, yes let them think that was completely on purpose. Maybe they'll listen to me if they think I'm clever. Completely knew this was here and meant to do that exactly. Yes. Act confident.
 
So hallways of death are just a favorite now? Maybe Keth can figure out that lever. He hasn't done recon yet, right? Just Wolfie and Rai...just Wolfie. Stay back and be safe and - wait where are you all going!? Well if Wolfaen is following, and Damaia and Eethyl are headed in, I might as well go too. Not gonna stay back here alone with this new guy. Easy way to get my throat slit.
 
Back to that Manor!? Glasstaff and Ulahoop and Spider someone? What? This is too much. This is too big. I didn't sign up for this. But I can't make it on my own yet...I need them. And they need Phandalin? ...We need Phandalin? There are too many unknowns. I just can't -

Familiar? No. How would he know? Who just knows that? How can someone tell? He was just a sweet new friend! He wanted to be with us. But...he was pretty angry with me...why would he follow if he was angry, or why didn't he stay at the farm, or ... maybe Eethyl's right? Wouldn't be the first time I was wrong about a new friend. Still..just...I should get some sleep. Maybe Eethyl can teach me how to detect that stuff later.
 
Two steps into the cave and that dang Eyeball monster is on us. At least if we kill it, maybe I can get Wolf's pole back for him. It was a mistake to work with that thing. GAH NOT INTO THE PIT! Why would you go down there!
 
AH! I didn't mean for that to hurt Keth so much, he's tough! I thought - shoot shoot shoot shoot shoot just kill the creepy eye guy and take care of it, go go go go go!
 
Damaia! Get up! What is Eethyl doing? Where did Wolfaen go? This new Fortune seems as lost as me. Great!
 
I hate this I hate this I hate this I hate this I hate this I hate this I hate this I hate this I hate this I hate this - out of the pit guys, I think it's dead. Get the pole back for Wolf, get whatever you need, but do it fast and let's leave. Again.
 
I think we have bigger problems, more enemies, and less of a clue as to what in the realms is going on here than when we started.
