Appearance & Traits:

Vaz'non bears the hallmarks of his mixed heritage: a strong, orcish frame tempered by something more refined and draconic in his features. His gaze is often wary, and his movements reveal a cautious nature forged by years of captivity and experimentation. Although his powers stem from two potent bloodlines, he maintains a tense grip on them, shaped by the trauma of those who tried to steal his gift.
 
 

Early Life & Captivity:

Born to an orc father and a non-orc mother, Vaz'non was deemed special by the Bloodfang Clan’s shamanic seers. Imprisoned since birth, he was subjected to cruel experiments as the tribe sought to harness or extract his emerging sorcerous abilities. When their efforts failed, the Bloodfang Clan planned to barter him away to a more powerful group. During a forced march, fate intervened: a scouting patrol from Belkzen encountered the orcs, sparking a skirmish in which Vaz'non seized his chance to escape. By aiding the patrol against his captors, he earned their reluctant goodwill and followed them back to Ravengro.
 
 

Life in Ravengro:

Vaz'non now lives at the town’s fringes, surviving on the tolerance of those who recognize his usefulness in battling orc incursions. Uncomfortable in bright daylight and unsettled by human society’s norms, he mostly ventures into town at dusk to trade for supplies. Interaction with the townsfolk is limited, with the local militia and guard serving as his main point of contact—united by mutual distrust of the orcs that once tormented him.
