Hassan was born and raised in Algol. Escaped slavery by joining Legionnaires at a young age. Raised as a child soldier for the Legion.
After being exiled from the Legion, Hassan was recruited by the Deathwish crew and became their new pilot.
During his time with the Deathwish crew Hassan has grown into a different person than who he was during his time with the Legion.
He now chooses his own path, making a name for himself and doing his best to keep his crew alive.

Personal history
Born and raised in Algol. Escaped slavery by joining Legionnaires at a young age. Raised as a child soldier for the Legion. He was young and eager to fight. a maverick from the beginning.
He excelled in training and was considered for higher positions within the Legion. He made it as 1st rank Lieutenant. Hassan was hoping to move up to Captain so that he could lead the new young recruits. Most child recruits aren't treated well by superior officers so Hassan has a soft spot for the young trainees.
Hassan has had most of his childhood friends die in battle. Most of them were women as they were drawn to him despite his lack of speaking skills. He was always one of the most focused soldiers so he lacked some social skills. Hassan often took the initiative during missions sometimes going against orders but getting the job done nonetheless.
Hassan's final mission with the Legion ended in failure as he kamikaze bombed into his crews ship which was owned by the Legion. His target survived and escaped, failing his crews contract. Due to all the damage, lost birr, and nearly killing his crew, Hassan was dismissed and exiled from the Legion.
Any contact with the Legionnaires would result in his capture and/or execution according to Legion code.
