The Pyramid

Day began as normal, I've almost completed my research so decided to try and re-create the tankard I lost thanks to Adel's rescue attempt. After breakfast Torinn decided to see if we could find out what this pyramid artifact he's been lugging around actually contains. I mean he has the key and has been carrying it for days but has yet to open by jove how has he resisted the temptation i don't know.
 
Maybe it would have been better not to find out. Finding out that the key only opens one side of the pyramid, Torinn opened it and black smoke erupted from inside.
 
We came to in a dark forest covered in thick, heavy cobwebs. Following the only real path in front we arrived a a circle of standing stones with a large obelisk in the centre. Torinn entered into the circle and a loud rumbling sound echoed out as glowing green runes arose on the obelisk and standing stones. I'm blaming Torinn for this whole mess by Perret and if we don't survive i'll haunt his bones.
 
On the plus side i did want adventure and this seems to most definitely be that so possibly Jolly good fun.
