Out of The Frying Pan

Having a moment of dusting off, Yeet contemplates how she got to be here.

Written in Yeet's mind palace,
Found in the ground floor, far right dusty file room.
Along the side wall, on top of an end table in the centre,
there is an old beaten world spinning atlas sits atop an old notebook, it seems to spin gently, than stopping at the same location, before slowly spinning again.
The notebook, seems that it has been opened recently.

It has been rather interesting, after a lift doing a bit of body guard duty for the Dwarf as we made our way towards Port Oskarr, it was pleasantly boring, I don't really know why the Dwarf wanted protection, he only had food in the back of his wagon.
 
Admittedly it was his fault that he offered to dish up plates, to save me from those dry rations I still had, but then he had the audacity to get unhappy with me, for just eating the right amount for what a Pandaren needs.
 
He eventually told me to hop it and that he didn't need my services anymore.
Fair do's, I was lucky to have some company for the rest of the way, and had a good natter.
 
We also came across a few others who ended up coming with us.
 
When we got into a little garden area I managed to try out one of the fruits hanging, but it was really unpleasant!
 
One of our companions was off to see their Uncle, and from enjoyong everyone's company, I was comfortable to tag along.
Which is useful for me anyhow, as I get to see where everything is here.
 
We did have one unfortunate event.
 
A poor youngun got run over by some sort of asshole emissary, who thought he was entitled to hit them.
 
I won't have this.
 
We managed to stop the asshole from going any further, I may have given him a little slap to give him a taste of his own medicine, seeing as I doubted that he would have gotten any punishment..
 
He mayyy have flown across the path, with his assistant running over in turmoil to see their boss hurt.
 
I absolutely smiled inside from seeing this.
 
Maybe this asshole will now think twice before trying to hurt an innocent.
 
From then on we got to the Windblume, which was a House of Negotiable Affection.
 
It turns out that the Uncle wants to get on enjoying the world, and one of our companions, a lovely Fire Genasi called "Inferno", and noe the Windblume is his!
 
I'm also very intrigued by the Warforged named Odd, they seem quite sweet...
 
The Centaur, mentioned they came by for sightseeing, I do hope we have interesting places to visit.
 
I also enjoyed chatting recipes with Bilby, and I gave them a prawn recipe which I hope they'll enjoy!
 
We also had a new companion that came to join us, also told that the Windblume would be a safe place for them.
 
We got given a task by Gamma and Old Mother, two older merchants that seem to dabble in magic, they even have their own shop.
 
They spiced the deal by showing us a jug that could pour a different liquid every day! I love this, how ingenious!
Apparently some wolves ended up getting into the sanctuary, and to try and find out how they got in, and try to relocate them.
 
A guard asked us why we were all going in, and we explained we did have permission.
 
We also got told that we could go to the farm to talk about some goings on, so we decided to go through the grove in the direction of the farm.
 
I tried to pick up the scent of a fresh kill, thinking that wolves have gotta eat.
 
We managed to come to an area where a bonfire was lit.
 
I didn't think to say, but I thought seeing as no one was around, it would be an idea to hide in the bush to watch, perhaps poachers or some other horrible person, as no one should be in this sanctuary, save for the creatures that inhabit it.
 
Rex, an interesting person, also went to hide, but the others went to investigate around the camp fire.
 
I'm glad they did, I hate research, I prefer talking to people, or to watch them, but reading books, looking around hoping to find some sort of clue, nooo thank you. So it's amazing and helpful that the others have that interest.
 
Some of us, including myself got caught by an Owlbears sites.
Poor thing didn't look in good condition.
 
We all came to a kind of mutual agreement, after assessing the situation, and in the end we chose to help the creature.
 
It seemed to have been hurt and was also very hungry.
 
Luckily the poor thing went off..
Which is lucky as I was wondering whether I should try to chaperone the poor creature to some sort of animal doctor, "do any even exist, hmmm.."
 
I wonder if we'll ever see our feather beared new friend again.
