Tirithia is a brilliant commander, someone doing their absolute best to play the game that is warfare. Although they may seem cold and calculating, someone without emotion even, that exterior hides someone who feels too much -- cares too much.

Appearance
Physical Description
Tirithia is lean and muscular, and built in such a way that it is very clear that they had some form of martial training. They carry themself with a straight posture, and very properly at that. They give themself no room to mess around.
Overall they are rather androgynous in appearance, though that may be due to the binder that they wear almost always.
Facial Features
The most striking thing about Tirithia is their glowing red eyes, often times the only things that people see when they even face them. Their eyes are cold and calculating, and rarely give anything away. Their face is often expressionless, impossible to distinguish, perhaps the only emotion one could pick up was the upward twitch of the corner of their mouth after they delivered some of their own brand of deadpan humour.
Overall, their face is androgynous, much like the rest of them. It is almost impossible to determine their gender -- a fact that Tirithia often capitalises on. It helps to keep them mysterious in the face of all who face them, all who they work with. If people do not know what they are looking for, it would be easier for them to slip through the cracks. Tirithia is average above all else, average eyes, average mouth, perhaps a nose a little bigger than average, all coming together to form one serious Chiss Commander.
Identifying Characteristics
They are missing their right arm, and have been for many years. This had been replaced by a mechanical prosthetic that looks, admittedly, not the most realistic, with heavy metal plating and ball joints. Its strong, and that is what Tith needed at the time, and by now its an extension of their body, too valuable to give up.
Apparel & Accessories
Tirithia is most known for wearing all black attire, which why explain as an homage to their culture. Chiss Military Uniforms are all black, and that is the uniform that Tirithia would have been wearing if it was not for the tragedy in their youth. Even if it is not Resistance issue, Tirithia always feels more proper, more powerful, and more competent whenever they wear all black into battle.
Mentality
Personal history
Cot’Irithi’Aci was born on the Chiss homeworld to parents involved within the Chiss military. It was expected that their child would follow the same path, become military personnel, make a name for themself, benefit the ascendency in some way. They were a quiet sort of child, very studious, not very note worthy beyond their placement amongst the top in their class. Really, the only noteworthy thing about them came when they were about to turn ten, when they were about to join the military like their parents before them. That was when their father died and their mother fled their homeworld with Tith in tow. They were never given any answer as to what had happened that night, and their mother never seemed the same, even abandoning their child on a space station before continuing her frantic journey.
(Later they had a hypothesis about what had happened. Their Mother was a sympathiser to Thrawn, their father was not. To stop him from causing an issue later, their mother killed their father before fleeing with her child. Why she then proceeded to leave Tith remains a mystery)
After that, Tith was alone, unsure who to trust, well, except themselves.
After being abandoned by their mother they were taken under the wing of a travelling bounty hunter named Ser, an assassin who taught them how to shoot a rifle, how to protect themselves from harm. He traveled with a pilot, someone named Parr, who had begun to see something in her charge. Tirithia was different. They saw the world different, different in the same way she did. Tirithia had a connection to the force, one that was strong despite how much they tried to suppress it (chiss were not allowed to be force sensitive, and Tirithia did not have the powers of an Ozyly-Esehembo), and Parr wanted to give them a chance, a chance to connect with who they truely were.
Tirithia was 11 when they came to the temple, scared, barely able to speak basic, barely speaking at all even, relying on their power of second sight -- telepathy. And they were welcomed with open arms, even with all of their anxieties, their flaws. They felt like they belonged. They learned how to control their emotions, how to ground themself, how to use the force. Master Skywalker saw at least something in them, a skill that they had since childhood, repressed like their second sight. They were a healer, someone with intense empathy, as much as they tried to hide it (emotions were a weakness).
They trained themself in the art of healing as well as the art of strategy and war. They needed to know how to fight to protect those who they cared about, they needed to know how to heal those who they cared about. It was their purpose, what they were good at.
Then came the attack on the temple. Tirithia fought valiantly to protect, utilising a form much like the Soresu of old. At their back were the cowering forms of children, children Tirithia promised to protect. They fought to make sure these innocents fled, and fled they did, even at the cost of Tirithia's own arm -- a small price to pay for a life saved.
And then they were found by Kaitre, who gave them their arm, a new lease on life.
It was the early days of the resistance against the first order, an opportunity for Tith to prove themself and explore something new. It was a new application of their skills, at least, if theyy chose to pursue this new opportunity, offer their skills up for use. They took that opportunity after much thought, seeing it as more of a mind game than an active war effort, an interesting game at that. They were welcomed as a strategist, even if they had been regarded with suspicion for much of their early work, whispers about their true allegiance. Tirithia knew not to trust others, not to let them close. They knew that one day they would prove themself, become trusted themself. That was a few years previously, and now Tirithia is a name whispered with respect, albeit begrudgingly, known for how they act in times of crisis, and how they handle situations as a whole.
Education
Early Education
Tirithia's education started no different thn the education of many other Chiss, in the great libraries of Csilla trying to memorise as much information as possible. Tirithia was especially gifted in startegy, however, almost unbeatable in games of Dejarik, able to develop plans of attack that were well above their age level, plans that indicated tens of hundreds of steps of planning. They were a gifted strategist, gathering new techniques from battles long since past.
They were transferred to a specialised academy on Sposia, one that would set them up for an officer's position in the future, perhaps when they were a little older than ten. Tirithia absolutely excelled here, brilliant in strategy, even if they were not the best at commanding troops, they were still well-liked by their peers. If circumstances had been different, Tirithia would have graduated at the top of their class, entered an advanced military academy, maybe even entered directly into service. But Tirithia was never allowed to graduate.
Yavin 4
Tirithia was taken in by the New Jedi Order and their Academy on Yavin IV, and taught the ways of the force. They stayed apart form almost everyone, feeling like they didnt belong, feeling like they were too old. Even if they were only 10, they were grown -- at least mentally. Though, they were close with some of the masters, at least they were watched over and protected, taught things that helped augment their talents thus far.
They were taught how to recognise the force in their day to day life, in their ability to forsee upcoming actions, in their second sight and ability to direct troops in battle as one cohesive unit. What was new, however, was their ability to heal, their care for others and how they would do anything to help those who they cared about. For someone who liked to say that they did not care, that they did not have compassion, that it was weakness, they wanted the best for people, the best for those around them. They incorperated Chiss fighting techniques with the fragments that were known about Soresu, a fighting style based upon defense, on never making the first move. It was perfect for them, for their own beliefs on combat and fighting.
As with all things, it seemed, Tirithia was never able to complete their training, they were never able to become a full knight, they were once again robbed of the ability to finish their education.
Employment
Currently Tirithia is employed by the Resistance, where they hold the rank of Commander, even if it has been a long road of trying to gain the trust of the group. All the Resistance knew of their kind was the Grand Admiral Thrawn, who had wreaked havoc within the early days of the New Republic. It made sense that they would not be trusted because of him, as much as it had hurt in the moment (couldnt the resistance see that they were different? that he was different than most other chiss?).
No matter where they started, they currently work as the commanding officer of the Gemstone Battalion, a specialised group which is often sent on Outer Rim and Wild Space campaigns.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Tirithia is a brilliant Military Commander, and thus, has many military achievements under their belt. Their Battalion has engaged in quite a few successful campaigns, and toppled First Order Operations in countless bases, some of which rather important ones. They are almost like the first line of defense, the first wave to come through and disrupt the order and their systems. They are almost like a group of liberators, a phantom force run by a phantom commander, going through the galaxy and restoring freedom to those who are oppressed.
Because of their constant dedication and their service they have received a few medals, alongside many of the other leaders within the battalion. They were rewarded for their hard work, for the sacrifices they had made.
Failures & Embarrassments
Tirithia considers their greatest failure to be their loss at the temple. They should have won that fight. They had spent twelve years training, only to be bested. They were supposed to be the one to protect, the not the one who needed protecting. This failure is a shame that they will bear for a long time.
Mental Trauma
Flight from Csilla
Tirithia witnessed their mother's betrayal, they were with their father speaking about the future -- their future (Tirithia's enrollment within the CEDF, just like their father, their future military career), they were there when their mother barged in with a monstrous glint in her eyes and a sharp knife in her hands. Tirithia was there when their mother ran their father through with that very same knife. They had just seen their father murdered and then their mother grabbed their arm and dragged them away from everything that they ever knew. It was all Tirithia could do to grab a stone from the walls of their underground city, a way to remember their family by, a way to remember their home world.
Tirithia was torn from their home violently, left with scars that led to their trust issues, things that haunt them at night. If they couldnt trust their own mother, then who could they even trust at all?
Attack on the Temple
Tirithia was 22, about to undergo the trials to become a full jedi knight when it happened. It seemed like tragedy followed them whenever they were about to achieve something great, whenever they were about to do something important. The night that it happened they were watching over some of the younger students at the temple, those children who had just arrived and did not yet even know their own strength. They were teaching them how to defend instead of attack. As one of the best defenders in the academy, they were often tasked with teaching others how to do the same.
It was a simple exercise, teaching these children how to parry oncoming attacks and reflect blaster fire, all skills that might help a jedi later on in their life. It was getting late, and Tirithia was just about to end the exercise itself when it happened, when a dark shadow fell across the moon, and the smell of smoke filled the air. It seemed like all at once that all of Tirithia's protective instincts flashed into existence. Something bad was happening and these children were going to survive.
They fought off an attacker to the best of their ability, telling the children to run, to find cover, find a way off of this place and get to safety, the last that they ever saw of them, with hopes that they were able to make it to safety. They continued to fight, even after they lost their arm, they fought to the very end.
Tirithia was left for dead, betrayed for the second time.
During dark nights they still see the lightsaber in front of them, they still smell the smoke from the fires. They still get nightmares where instead of a Knight of Ren, a former padawan like themself, they saw their mother behind the glowing light, saber raised and ready to deal the final blow.
Intellectual Characteristics
Tirithia sees things as a chain of events, with each event a node in a branching path based on their outcomes, which each outcome leading to more and more. They think of everything in one large flow chart, with hundreds and hundreds of different options to work through. They have the ability to plan steps and steps in advance, and they use that ability to the utmost advantage. It helps them strategise, and it is an invaluable skill on the battlefield.
Other than that, they are just generally very intelligent, especially in terms of medicine. What many forget is that they are a trained doctor, and they have experience with many different species.
In reality, they are a bit like a walking encyclopedia, though this is something that they dont necessarily broadcast to those around them.
Morality & Philosophy
Tirithia does not necessarily believe in good or bad, they tend to walk a neutral line on all things, only entering a situation if it might benefit them, if it might benefit their cause. They are rather grey all things considered, believeing in balance in many things.
First and foremost, Tirtithia believes in practicality, what can help and what can hurt. They believe in results, and the ends justifying the means. Really the only greater doctrine they follow is the laws of the Chiss Ascendency, how they run the military. They want to hold on to the last bits of their culture that they have left.
person.sexuality
Tirithia is not entirely sure what their sexuality is, who they are attracted to if anyone. They never had enough time to really figure it out, or really understand who they were as a person, what they wanted. They would probably describe themself as demiromantic demisexual overall.
person.gender_identity
Tirithia has no gender to speak of, at least that is what they feel most comfortable referring to themself as. They may have been born female, but they have rejected that title ever since they could remember. They use exclusively they/them pronouns, and feel most comfortable with an androgynous appearance, the more androgynous the better.
Taboos
Tirithia will never make a preemptive attack. It is forbidden within their culture to make the first move, and they much prefer to be on the defensive. They find a way to rationalise many things as the first attck, though without this rationalisation, they will not act.
Known Languages
Tirithia can speak Cheuhn, Sy Bisty, Minniasat, Basic fluently, and a few other languages less fluently. They have a bit of a gift for picking them up fast, especially languages that require a lot of contextual awareness to understand.
Personality
Motivation
Tirithia is motivated by one thing and one things alone -- being good enough. They feel like that is the only way thet they would ever be able to return home. If they become someone good enough, if they become someone that their father could be proud of, that their people could be proud of. They believe the reason why they have not succeeded thus far is because they have not been good enough.
Currently they think that if they aide the Resistance, if they bring victory following Chiss Doctrine, and with less resources than Grand Admiral Thrawn had, that it would be enough, that they would be considered good enough. All Tirithia seeks is the approval of their peers, the approval of their commanders and the approval of their troops. Beyond that, they are not sure what really drives them, or what they will do when they fulfill their ultimate goal.
Quotes & Catchphrases
Emotions are only a weakness, they get in the way of logical thought and thus should be discarded.
It does not matter how many pawns you have in battle, but how you use those pawns. Make them trust you, for a disloyal pawn can spoil the whole batch.

Virtues & Personality perks
Virtue
Tirithia's greatest virtue is their diligence. They are a constant variable, someone who can be depended upon. They are reliable, and with their tendency to do as much research as possible on a subject, they are known for just how much thought goes into every single plan that they put into action.
Strength
Tirithia's greatest strength is their level headed-ness, how they can look at a situation in its entirety and figure out how to act based on the knowledge that they gather. Tirithia is clever, and prefers not to act until they have seen every side of the situation, and considered every course of action. They want to keep as many people alive as they can, and to do that they need to choose the best course of action.
Tirithia is serious and practical, never letting their emotions show unless they are in times of great stress (and even then it might be a bit of a long shot, since if they are stressed, then others probably need them to keep a level head more than anything else).
Vices & Personality flaws
Vice
Tirithia's greatest sin is obstinance. They are stubborn, and stubborn to a fault. Once they have made up their mind, they will not change it unless there is an almost insurmountable amount of evidence to the contrary.
Flaw
Tirithia's greatest flaw is their solitary nature. They do not trust others, and they prefer to stand alone. Perhaps they see themself as superior to those around them, perhaps its the many betrayals they have suffered still fresh in their mind. Despite it all, Tirithia is cold, cold and emotionless, oftentimes not able to connect with those around them. There is a great divide that they do no know how to overcome. That they do not want to overcome.
Personality Quirks
Perhaps the only noticeable quirk that Tirithia has is their inability to look anyone in the eye. In most situations they are able to fake it pretty well by looking at a point right over someone's shoulder, relying on the fact that their eyes have no pupils to keep the fact that they are not truely looking at someone hidden.
Hygiene
It is sometimes hard for Tirithia to remain as clean as they want to be, especially during long and arduous campaigns on the fields of a distant Outer Rim planet. They do their best, however, to wash whenever they have the chance to, even if its just bathing in a river or other small body of water. They keep much of their things clean, neat, military standard.
On base Tirithia is very proper, always clean, always smelling of some sort of fresh mint, perhaps the opposite of the slightly scruffy commander that many of their troops have learned to depend on.

Contacts & Relations
Many of Tirithia's contacts are within the resistance proper, and even then the Gemstone Battalion is much more isolated than many other groups. If needed, their words can find their way to someone who will be able to help.
Within the battalion itself, there is someone who Tirithia cares about more than all others, the one who they have taken in as their protege, their student and second in command, a Twilek named Usha'Kune. This twilek shares some of Tirithia's talents in the force, specifically their ability to command troops. Usha'Kune is a natural leader, and is being trained in the art of strategy. She is close to Tirithia, who she reguards almost as a parent more than a teacher.
Family Ties
Tirithia was always close to their father, Cot'Hesa'Nurudo (Thesan), a general within the Chiss Expansionary Defense Force, perhaps one of the more brilliant among its ranks, with a steady hand and a sharp mind. His troops respected him, and he always seemed to succeed in his missions. His death was a great loss.
Tirithia's mother, Basi'Mir'Torrer (Imirto), was much more critical of her child, and much more distant while they were growing up, and in the present Tirithia does not consider Imirto to be a member of their family.
Unbeknownst to Tirithia, they have a sister, ten years their junior, named Basi'Seko'Mitth (Isekom), who is a rising star within the Empire of the Hand, a brilliant strategist in her own right.
Religious Views
The Chiss are not religious, and Tirithia is no different. Despite years of Jedi training they never subscribed to the more spiritual side of the order, instead choosing to believe that the Force is just a extension of themself, of their own abilities.
Social Aptitude
Tirithia is not very good in social situations, due to their bluntness, they are an absolutely terrible diplomat, their overly serious demeanor tends to breed unease within those who meet them in a more casual setting. This is something that they know, that they understand and accept. Their mother always told them that they were a strange child, that they did not feel as much as their peers, and they believe that this is just an extension of that.
What they do not, understand, or really acknowledge, however, is their natural charisma and ability to draw people towards them. Their troops tend to follow them without question, and many of those who they speak to in a military caoacity tend to find themselves agreeing with Tirithia's views.
Mannerisms
Tirithia has some rather strange mannerisms, often making motions with their hands when they speak. they carry themself very prim and proper, though when they get nervous their hands are known to shake ever so slightly. They act rather matter-of-factly, much like how they speak. They dont mince words and they dont cut corners, and their body language reflects that.
Hobbies & Pets
Tirithia has always loved Dejarik. It is something that their father taught them when they were only a very small child, when they were first able to understand what was happening. It was a way for father and child to bond, and Tirithia would never trade the hours spent across from their father learning the ins and outs of the game for the world. Now people rarely play them, as their skill in the game is almost infamous within their battalion and the resistacne as a whole. People are afraid to challenge them because they know that they will most likely lose. Its disheartening for someone who truely loves the game like Tirithia does.
Speech
Tirithia does not mince words, nor do they sugar coat things. They are honest, perhaps a little too honest, and they are very direct. Perhaps the strangest things about their speech is how monotone and emotionless it is, however, that is a result of their calm and emotionless facade.
