Appearance
Physical Description
Inashi does not appear to be especially muscular or quick, neither is there very much to them to begin with. All in all they are rather thin under their robes, and use their presence to fill a room and make them appear larger than they truely are. Their aura is what allows them to fill a room, not their physical body.
A rather interesting thing about them, however, is that they stand less like a diplomat and more like a duelist, and they always carry themself with their head held high.
An Inashi is proud of who they are, and they will never let anyone take that pride from them.
Body Features
Inashi is rather average in all honesty, when it comes to body features. They are perhaps a little taller than others of their kind, but that is where many of the differences end.
Perhaps the most interesting thing about their body is the series of thin scars forming a web across their torso, a relic of another time -- of duels lost and practice sessions gone wrong.
Identifying Characteristics
Inashi bears a yellow tattoo on their face, much like much of their kin. The design of this tattoo was inspired by their birth family and their adopted family, as a way to honour them both (a way to remember where they came from despite how far they have come).
Specifically the design is comprised of a central square surrounded by smaller squares, with lines radiating from it in a cross - like pattern.
Apparel & Accessories
Inashi has an outfit for every situation in the galaxy it seems -- a habit that they picked up from their adopted father, however, there seems to be quite a trend when it comes to their attire, at least within its colouring. They have a tendency to incorperate shades of purple or blue into their outfits.
As for accessories, they are always seen wearing some form of golden headpiece -- a connection to their culture that they would never give up. These headpieces, like all of their other outfits, tend to range in complexity and formality to fit whatever situation they encounter.
Mentality
Personal history
An Inashi began life on the moon of Pantora, finding peace and security in the arms of their parents, in their small family that they no doubt had. They arent entirely sure about much of their heritage, where they came from, though that is for another reason -- a terrorist attack, targeting the capitol city, destroying a shopping centre where the family had been doing errands together. They thought that it was going to be a normal day, a day just like any other, but in a flash of bright light, everything changed, everything fell apart. Inashi's parents died in the blast, both of them shielding their child from its wrath.
An Inashi survived. And at the young age of 1 and a half, they were completely alone in the world.
They didnt remain alone for long, thankfully, it seemed like their father was a childhood friend of the Pantoran representative to the Republic Senate, and this man heard of his good friend's fate, of the child that he had left behind. He took Inashi in and treated them like a member of his own family, she became his and his husband's only child, his pride and joy. He would do anything for little Inashi, and little Inashi would do anything to make him proud.
He set An on their lifelong path, teaching them about the value of negotiation, of diplomacy. He was teaching them how to lead the Pantoran people, to become a senator, a representative, a politician. Inashi spent their childhood in specialised schools, learning everything that they could, learning how to become the best version of themself possible. All they wanted to do was make their father proud, and this was how they could do it. They were serious as a child, as an adolescent, making few friends and always managing to be the top of the class. They were the student council president by the time they were aged 13, a member of the junior senate and a force to be reckoned with in their own right.
When they were 13 they were found by the jedi order, and given the choice whether to continue on the path of the senator or traverse the path of the jedi. Their father told them to do what felt right, what their instincts told them. And their instincts told them that the force held the answer, that becoming a jedi was their true purpose.
Inashi learned that the force flows through all things, and that they themselves were rooted in it, steeped in it, the force flowed through them and guided their words, the words that they always found so helpful, the words that always served them well. They spoke with the will of the force at their back, and that skill became crucial learning at the very end of the war. They had been apprenticed to a great diplomat, one of those on the front lines trying to prevent battles before they even started. Throughout the entireity of their apprenticeship, they did their best to follow in their master's footsteps, in their adopted father's footsteps.
They never settled down, always on the move, always working to keep the peace, after their master passed, they became the face of the diplomatic corps, there was no rest, there was always more to do. They needed to honour her memory, to keep the peace that their master so desperately sought. The war was over, and the time for peace had come, and peace came at the hands of those who were willing to broker it -- the diplomats, the negotiators, the consulars.
By age 25, they had become a liasion between the senate and the military, serving the jedi order as a diplomat and arbiter. Their work had become more important than ever, and things were constantly in motion. They had never had more work to do, and they rose to this challenge with grace and serenity.
Education
Early Education:
Inashi was entered into a small program for the children of senators, a schooling system where they would be kept safe from those who may wish to do them harm. It was a stellar program, providing the very best that money could offer.
After a few years of this, Inashi's talent with words was noticed, and at the tender age of eight, they were enrolled in a program to further nurture this diplomatic talent, to mold them into a senator like their adoptive father. Through this diplomat's school, An learned many of the basics that served them well later in life, how to negotiate, how to lead, how to get others to see their point of view.
They earned a place in the junior senate by the age of 11, an acheivement that had made their father extraordinarily proud.
Temple Training
Inashi is force sensitive, and that opened possibilities, and with their position in the Junior senate they were more in the public eye -- it was easier for the jedi to detect their presence. It only took two years before they were approached and given the choice to become a padawan, a member of the order. They talked it over with their family for many days before they returned with their answer, an acceptance.
Due to their proficiency in diplomatic situations, as well as their background, they were placed within the care of Jedi Master Ilen Eckrarm, one of the most accomplished diplomats within the order, perhaps the most accomplished diplomat within the order, and a prolific duelist to boot.
He taught young Inashi how to lace their words with the Force, allowing them to reach a greater audience than they had before. He taught the young pantoran everything that he knew, moulding them into a replacement for himself, someone who could take his place one day. He wanted a protege, and his padawan was a perfect candidate. He taught them how to carry themself, how to duel, how to speak and connect with the force as a whole.
By the time Inashi was 18, they had passed the Trials, becoming a Jedi Knight in their own right, their training complete.
person.sexuality
Inashi would most likely describe themself as Bisexual, however, they have always questioned themself and their identity, and this is no different.
person.gender_identity
Inashi was raised as a girl by their foster parents, and still dons much of the trappings of femininity. However, when they were about 15, they started to doubt that they themselves were a girl. They felt disconnected from what they had been told was their identity, and even still they are not entirely sure what their gender identity is, however they feel most comfortable referring to themself as some form of "demi-girl" or as "non-binary"
Personality
Virtues & Personality perks
Virtues:
Inashi's greatest virtue is their patience, their ability to sit through just about anything and attempt to work through it, even if it may take a long time or a great effort. They spend all day listening to the plights of others, no matter how trivial, and it takes a special type of person to deal with the senate on a regular basis
Hygiene
Possibly as a result of their upbringing, and definitely as a result of their current position, Inashi is always as clean as possible, perhaps even unnaturally so. They never have a hair out of place or a speck of dust on their clothing -- even when they are trying not to be noticed. It is just a habit for them by this point. First Impressions are Important, and nobody would know that better than they do.
In general, they usually smell like some form of tundra flower native to Pantora, or some herbs native to the environment. It is something that puts them at ease, and they hope that it calms others as well.

Although their birth family is long since deceased, and they do not know of much in the way of other relatives, Inashi has become well integrated into their adopted family, and is treated as one of them, despite the fact that they bear the name of their birth family -- An.
Religious Views
As with many Jedi, Inashi believes in the Force as a constant throughout all things -- connecting everything together into one large galaxy.
Personally, Inashi takes this a step further, beliveing that Jedi are a conduit of the force, as they are strong with it, it is their job to be almost intermediaries between the force and the galaxy at large. Much of what they do is influenced by the force, and much of their skills find themselves influenced by the force in turn. It is a symbiotic relationship.
Out of the different aspects of the force Inashi is most attuned to the Living Force, as much of their work is devoted to the interaction between different beings.
