Jonathan Fights Dail, the Flail Snail

After a successful mission in Blackburn, Jonathan attempted to leave when he was transported to the throne room in Coldhall. He fell from about fifteen feet onto the middle of the floor while a group of mercenaries were talking to the Steward about a job, to go to the estate of a powerful man and kill him (or something, Jonathan was recovering from the fall and heard about half of it). They assumed he was also there for the job and compelled him to go on it, which he agreed to so he could find out what was going on. His teammates were Takinom, a confident Tiefling Sorcerer, Ruckus the Cursed, a large and mean human paladin that gave Jonathan weird vibes, Tien-Dali, a quiet monk who normally stuck close to Takinom, and Toralei Cosmosis, a beautiful yet morally dubious bard who added a bit of chaos to the group. They ventured out and soon ran into some bandits, where Jonathan was able to see what the group could do. Takinom was a devastating sorcerer, burning through people with scorching rays and bludgeoning them massive shockwaves. Ruckus was a force of nature who cleaved through well armored fighters like a hot knife through butter. Tien-Dali was a whirlwind with his spear, gracefully cutting men down with ease, and Toralei's harmless appearance hides her magical ability, literally blowing people apart or shattering them with her magic.
When the group reached the mansion, there was a small village outside where the residents were terrified of the property. They warned them not to go there. Jonathan managed to bluff his way inside with the group, and they stepped into a room filled with tanks of strange creatures. One, a small brain-dog hybrid called out to him for help, so he released it, and the creature ran at him and slashed at him violently. He dispatched it quickly by summoning a tentacle out of his sleeve to rend it to pieces. The group carried on upstairs, where a creature called out to them, demanding a package. The situation gave everyone a bad feeling, so they left to get the "package" back at the village, to try to gain entry safely to the room. When they got back to the village, there was a strange Kenku being held hostage by a group of mercenaries. They freed him and Jonathan scared one of the mercenaries into leaving, and they had to kill the rest. The Kenku called himself "Synyster Shreds" and claimed to be the creation of the owner of the Mansion. They deduced he was the package and agreed to use him to gain entry, then help him kill the owner.
Takinom and Jonathan butted heads often, as they were both sort of the co-leaders of the group. As they entered the mansion, they explored the rooms first, seeing all sorts of strange creatures, including a Lich and a Beholder. They eventually reached the owners office, and he turned out to be a large Flail Snail named Dail. He asked the group to give him Synsyter Shreds, as well as Toralei. They refused, and a fight ensued. Jonathan told Synyster Shreds to free some fairies that were in cages, and they joined the fight as well. Eventually, Dail was killed, and they found a note in his desk from his brothers, explaining a bit about the operation they were doing. Jonathan realized his group had their work cut out for them, and they went back to Coldhall to get ready to hunt down the next Flail Snail.
