Personal history

Serena was supposedly secretly conceived with her mother Raven, a divine multidimensional deity, and a Voodoo King, known as Anhur. Yet she has never met her father. She was hidden away in a forest away from civilization, and taught the ways of the witch. She was not allowed to leave the dark forest and spent most of her childhood alone. That is until she met her cousin Vladimir and spent years with him training and bonding. They dreamed of becoming powerful mages and defending the world from evil gods and demons. They trained for that day long and hard until the time came when Raven's mother left her for an unknown reason. Vladimir and Serena set out to join their legacy group known as the Phoenixes. Serena loves being a part of the group and felt like she finally had a purpose, but that was cut short. She was asked to defend the forest while her Aunt was away. She originally thought it would only be for a year or so, she ended up spending a century there. Alone and confined yet again. After much time past, she was attacked by a witch and knocked unconscious. The witch began to siphon her powers from her and locked her in a stasis field. She watched in horror and the forest she had stayed to protect was twisted. She thought she was in her own personal hell and began to lose hope.That is until an adventuring group saved her life. She was ready to aid them in any way and perhaps they could help her find a purpose yet again.

Serena spent her entire childhood learning the old magics and the new. She learned much from both her mother and Vladimir.

Mental Trauma

Serena has never felt like she belonged anywhere. She's always felt secluded and distant. She wasn't allowed to have friends as a child and this messed her up mentally. She also feels like she will never accomplish anything great because she's always stuck in seclusion and not able to help anyone. She feels as though her mother shouldn't have kept her from the world because now she's an outsider wherever she goes.
