Names

Megan finished her latest meal as the credits rolled on the last movie of the marathon she had set up for herself today. She had been most pleased when she realized that the house she had been allowed to crash in had a TV system loaded with ALL the streaming services. She let out a satisfied burp and picked up her phone.
She then unplugged it and turned it on. She impatiently waited for it to boot up, then loaded the app Socrates had asked her load for communication a few days before. “Soe-Craits!” She almost yelled.
“Greetings, WindWalker. You are mispronouncing my name.”
Megan scoffed and rolled her eyes. “Don’t tell me you have never seen Bill & Ted?”
Socrates recited in his personal monotone, “Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, 1989, Orion Pictures. I love San Dimas.“
Megan raised an eyebrow, “Was that a joke?”
“I allow my users to decide that.”
Megan laughed at that. “Okayy. I miss anything while I stayed in today?”
“There has been an altercation at Millenium City University however I have not yet compiled all the facts.”
Megan was placing the plastic tray from her microwave dinner in the trash. “You’ll tell me later, I guess?”
“Affirmative. You have also made me ponder whether I should allow the team to continue using my name over the air.”
Megan giggled again, “Need a secret identity of your own?”
“That may in fact be a wise course of action.”
Megan smiled thoughtfully, “How about ‘Rufus’?”
Socrates was quiet a moment. “The Mentor character from the future in the previously mentioned movie...”
Megan pointed at the phone, “AND a Naked Mole Rat!”
The app showed a loading gif. “Kim Possible, 2001-2007. Disney channel.”
“Exactly!” Megan giggled.
“Such a nommé de guerre may make it more difficult for our enemies to surmise my identity. I will consider it.”
“You do that!” Megan grinned. “Now that the sun has set, I’ll be in the park practicing.”
