Standing 6' tall with a longsword, chain shirt, receding hairline, and calloused hands, Titus is a human paladin that grew up with his father in a small village west of the Vallaki valley deep in the Svalich woods. He was made an orphan after his only living relative, his father, died due to a mysterious illness. At the age of 25, Titus began his formal training with an aged Paladin named Jonathan Silver. Titus has piercing blue eyes trained to seek out those that work in the shadows and to deliver them to the Light.

Mentality
Personal history
Titus was raised by his father Paul Lightbearer who spent much of his life working farmlands and tending livestock in woodlands of Svalich west of the Vallaki Valley. His father, a fighter for sport in his youth, also served as head over the village militia which rarely dealt with anything other than wild beasts threatening livestock and the occasional unsavory character that traveled through the village. Now, the Lightbearer family was considered nobility by the local villages for their service to the community but are not well-known outside of the woodlands.
Paul trained young Titus in the use of simple and martial weapons and relayed old stories of his departed mother who spent her dying breath defending the innocent and helpless villagers against a Barovian witch. Her bravery in the face of such evil instilled the very same attitude in Titus against such evils in the world. Titus' life was very much sheltered from the darkness, oppression, and evil of the world while his father lived but at the age of 18 his father passed away from an illness that none of the local healers could identify or treat. With all the loss he suffered of both mother and father, Titus grew more and more determined to prepare, to fight, and to cleanse the evil element wherever it be found.
Titus assumed the role of head over the militia after his father's passing and continued in his training for battle and also healing methods with the help of an aged Paladin named Jonathan Silver who would settle in the village when Titus turned 25. What started out as the occasional wild beast or bandit grew into an endless battle for life, righteousness, and justice as the evil element continued to cover the place he once called home like a suffocating blanket.
One dark night, Titus was lead into an ambush while trying to save the townsfolk from a band of marauders. Falling into the trap, Titus barely made it out alive but the townsfolk weren't so lucky. Everyone of them slaughtered and their homes destroyed. Since then he's spent his every waking moment defending the cause of the right and showing those who work in the shadows the power of Light.
Education
Titus received no formal education but availed himself of all the books his small village possessed as well as those from travelers through Barovia, though it never produced much aside from what Jonathan Silver carried with him.
Employment
Self-employed and self-appointed guardian of his village from his teenage years up til his departure at the age of 40.
His departure was rather unintentional but happened upon a moving house with a strange butler sort of fellow who offered him a job in a distant land as well as a way out of Barovia to do it.
