Vendar son of Soriel grew up in the tiny town of Blaidd Drwg. A small agriculture town located on the far edge of Brovaria. His father, the cleric of the town, has been raising Vendar to take his place one day. Given his background he has developed a strong belief and love for Our Lady in Silver. Vendar always caries a framed photo of her and when casting spells he lifts the photo above his head and shouts praise in the old Brovarian tongue "Sarangae!!!"
The town of Blaidd Drwg was once a humble town but famine has been ravaging the town for over 5 years. Vendar and Soriel have watched the majority of their flock die by starvation. Praying for a good harvest, Vendar has begun to lose hope that their faith will ever be able to save the town. His inability to help has caused him to spiral into depression, questioning his faith in Our Lady in Silver.
