Personal history

I am from a respected family from a far away hidden elf city where there was a wizard school and my father was a highly skilled elder. The city was discovered by an evil wizard who sought to destroy my father and family. He destroyed my whole town and killed the rest of my family, but there was a hidden passage that allowed me to escape the city. Though many in the city were very skilled, few escaped and the city and the school were entirely destroyed. I traveled far for a long time not staying anywhere too long for fear of being found by the wizard. My father always told stories of an ancient scepter that my grandfather told him about in the Gap of Thalmorsis. Before I escaped the city he told me to find Thaddeus the Far Traveler who had once helped him on a journey of his own. I ended up living in a town for a while until I finished preparing for the journey. I stopped into a bar keep where I met Snuffalufagus who was also traveling to Thalmor and in search of Thaddeus.
