Appearance

Physical Description

Bony and a little hunched over. lengthy body covered in scales. with long arms and legs with a scaly tail in between them, charcoal dark eyes that lie deep in their sockets and underneath a wide grin of razor sharp teeth.

Body Features

Covered in dark grey/green scales from snout to toes, long arms and legs and a muscular tale. Nimble fingers with sharp claws at the ends

Facial Features

Deep charcoal eyes that draw the attention away from a wide grin of razor-sharp teeth. A few small scars adorn strong jaws, hitting at prey that struggled to escape them... to no avail.

Physical quirks

Restless fingers are always fidgeting with whatever they can get in their grasp. Usually a deck of cards or the bones of the most recent lunch.

Special abilities

Sleight of hand so fast it can make the most seasoned gambler dizzy, accompanied by a mystifying charm.

Personal history

...he was small, far smaller than the average newborn and would never be the warrior his twin brother Aryte could grow into some day. They named him Kosj, which felt more like an insult to his physique, rather than a loving name for a child. That name was all his parents gave to him during his first few years, because I remember taking care of him most of the time while Aryte got all the attention from the rest of the tribe. Aryte grew up fast and even at a young age he was incredibly strong. He would be trained to become a great hunter, something that Kosj could probably never do. I pitied the little brother, because I saw it in his eyes that he was looking up to his twin, wishing he had the same strength, the same dexterity and could earn his place among the tribe. Kosj showed that he was capable of understanding emotion and emitting it on a far more advanced scale than most other Lizardfolk ever could, which could serve him well in the world, although he didn't see this advantage, focusing only on the physical aspect of his being. Education

H-he asked if he was allowed to go on the hunt, it was a big deal for him because it was the first time Aryte said yes to him in more than 10 winters. They left early in the morning and I remember Kosj getting picked on by the other hunters for not being able to fight them off. How could he, he seemed insignificant in comparison to the tribe's best warriors and when they dared him to a friendly brawl his selfmade weapon shattered on first impact and he surrendered right away. I swear I could see the fire in his charcoal eyes underneath his cowl, he could still join the party on their hunt, but he wouldn't be able to come home with any prey of his own, at least that's what I thought...
 
beautiful morning had turned into a overcast, grey day and when he finally returned it was pitch plack and rolling thunder welcomed Kosj back home to the tribe. I-I wasn't sure what I saw when I looked up at him coming through the dense woods into the clearing, it was as if he had c-changed. Lightning struck a tree in the distance and the flash illuminated Kosj... or whatever he was now. He looked stronger and more fearsome than ever before, but yet had the same dark eyes and grin that gave away that it was still him inside.
 
Another flash and then I saw the blood, his clothes, his hands, claws, teeth.. all covered in it and I knew something was very wrong. He was alone and the 4 warriors that left with him that morning, including Aryte, weren't with him anymore. They would never return to this day. - Sauriv, on the night that split a tribe apart
