Born during the War of Dragons, she saw the rise and fall of dragon gods and celestial gods. However, after the betrayal at The Well of Dragons and the realization of what Celestial Accord actually meant, she withdrew from draconic politics, embedding herself within mortal civilization instead. Now, she operates in Porthca - City of the Last Lantern , secretly owning Dragon's Armory , a powerful weapons and artifacts trade hub.
To the world, she appears as a simpleminded merchant, obsessed with wealth and dragon parts, but in truth, she is a calculating collector of history, magic, and secrets. Few know her true power and intelligence, and even fewer realize how influential she has quietly become. Her hoard is far more than treasure—it is knowledge, leverage, and the key to something only she understands.

Personal history
Chormophi hatched amidst the chaos of the War of Dragons and the reign of Tiamat, The Queen of Dragons. As a silver dragon, she was born into the faction that sought order, justice, and the preservation of balance, often opposing the chaotic and domineering factions of chromatic dragons. Her early life was spent fighting for the ideals of her kind, believing in the code of honor and protection that silver dragons so often followed. Soon after the battle between Tiamat and Bahamut the remaining chromatic dragons scattered across The Continent of Grenias fleeing for their lives. The dragon god with the battle won delved under the earth for an eternal slumber until his presence was required on the mortal realm once more. With the war of the heavens still occurring, she became one of the many dragons that chose to parley with the gods. The coalition brokered an ancient pact that simply became known as the Celestial Accord and was a treaty that dictated that draconic beings would no longer be a part of the war of the divine and would be free to worship their sleeping dragon god Bahamut. In return, the metallic dragons chose to remove themselves from mortal politics and lives and remain as creatures of legend, living their lives in peace and not meddling in the lives of mortal creatures.
With the treaty signed and sealed her and a contingent of metallic dragons sought to negotiate peace with the chromatic dragons, particular a faction of blue and black dragons that had holed up near the newly formed temple of Tiamat in what eventually became known as the well of dragons. The metallic dragons fell for the chromatic dragon's trap and it led to the slaughter of many of the metallic dragons, including most of Chormophi's closest kin. Wounded and barely escaping, she fled to the frozen lands north of the well of dragons in the town that eventually became known as Porthca - City of the Last Lantern. As she healed and began building her lair, she reflected on the failed diplomacy of the events that had cost her most of her family and it became the seeds that shaped her cautious nature, making her suspicious of deals, treaties, and "honorable words."
After the war of the heavens came to an end, almost all dragons retreated from mortal affairs-both metallic and chromatic-and carved out their own empires. Chormophi, disillusioned with draconic ideals, hid herself among mortals, assuming different forms across various ages, watching how they built, destroyed, and rebuilt civilizations. Over centuries, she became fascinated by their adaptability, though she still views them as reckless and short-lived. In time, she helped fully establish Porthca as a safe haven for those not wanted by society. She built The Dragon’s Armory, a business specializing in weapons, armor, and rare dragon-related materials. Here, she cultivated the image of an eccentric merchant, seemingly dumbfounded by business yet obsessed with wealth. This persona allows her to collect information, artifacts, and monitor mortal affairs without suspicion.
Though centuries have passed, Chormophi’s sense of purpose remains unclear. Some suspect she hoards knowledge and artifacts for a hidden goal. Others believe she is waiting for something—perhaps the return of an old enemy, the resurgence of an ancient conflict, or the emergence of a prophecy she has yet to reveal. Eventually she adopted a child named Ignor Ramous from an old friend and raised him to be a prominent mage; however, his history she kept hidden away until the time was right.
During the events of When All Else Fails, she took to the skies to help the mortals battle against Tiamat, The Queen of Dragons once more. After the battle and the monk Abnor Mality from Order of the Golden Dragon came across her in Porthca and became obsessed with her and pledged his loyalty. Curious of his intentions, she formed a bond with him helping to guide him and his companions to stop the arch lich Riament Grangerford.
During the events of The War-Torn Continent, she sent Ignor to stop the arch lich Vecna who was the puppet of the primordial god "Undeath" only to have him later find out that he was the child of Angelina Goddess of War. During the chaos and the shattering of the central island of the Bracelita Archipelago, the city of Trosall along with Zoratha, The Time Hag attacked and placed a curse upon her. With the defeat of the hag and ultimately Vecna, the curse was broken and Abnor began nursing her back to health.

Chormophi is obsessed with history, ancient magic, and lost artifacts, particularly those relating to dragons and celestial beings. She secretly hoards forbidden tomes and relics in her lair beneath Porthca.
Despite her condescending attitude toward short-lived races, she finds mortal ambition fascinating—especially those who break free from expectations or forge their own destinies. She has been known to sponsor or manipulate such individuals, sometimes just to see what they’ll do next.
She enjoys outwitting others, particularly those who think they’re in control. Whether it's a game of cards, a battle of wits, or political maneuvering, she relishes watching mortals struggle to keep up with her.
Despite being a dragon, she has developed a taste for luxury and excess when in her humanoid form. She indulges in exquisite meals, rare delicacies, and imported wines, though she often pretends not to care.
Dislikes
After the Celestial Accord and the Betrayal at the Well of Dragons, she has learned that promises are just well-dressed lies. She rarely binds herself to any agreement unless she controls the loopholes. Despite her cunning and deceptive nature, Chormophi does not enjoy war or slaughter for the sake of it. She sees violence as wasteful and prefers to manipulate events to avoid unnecessary conflict—unless, of course, it benefits her.
Despite her cunning and deceptive nature, Chormophi does not enjoy war or slaughter for the sake of it. She sees violence as wasteful and prefers to manipulate events to avoid unnecessary conflict—unless, of course, it benefits her.
Having witnessed how gods used and abandoned the dragons during the celestial war, she sees divine beings as unreliable at best, manipulative at worst. She believes mortals and dragons alike should never depend on the gods.
Vices & Personality flaws
Though she has fascination with mortals, she rarely lets herself grow attached. She has lived too long, seen too many betrayals, and knows that everything ends eventually. This makes her deeply lonely, though she would never admit it.
While she dislikes overt displays of power, she has an intellectual superiority complex. She believes she can outthink or outmaneuver anyone, and this makes her blind to threats she deems beneath her notice.
While her persona as an eccentric, wealth-obsessed merchant keeps her safe, sometimes it limits her interactions. There are moments where she wants to be taken seriously but revealing her true intelligence risks exposing her deeper plans.
Though she acts indifferent to history, she carries deep-seated guilt for her shortcomings with the betrayal of her kin at The Well of Dragons. She tells herself that she has moved on, but her actions often betray a desire to atone, even if she does so in roundabout ways.
