Francis Bedlam, sometimes referred to as the King of Beggars was the leader of a gang known as the Guild of Beggars. Francis has a thuggish face and is bald with bushy eyebrows. Francis once served in the army during the War on the Lightborn, fighting on the side of the Lightborn. He was in a squad that also had the now criminal William “The Butcher” Brown. Him and William Brown were close friends during that time. After he got back he started up a gang aimed at helping the poor of the city. The group first met Francis at the party celebrating the party's successful trial, accompany an old friend Ib the Bruiser. Francis has since helped the group with information about the Undercity riots and how to find William Brown. Francis was present when Greirat was hung and informed the group about the Four Points, and its subsequent “Dance”. Francis was present at the Dance of the Four Points.
