Physical Description

Pina is small for a dragonborn with a lithe frame. Think Mushu from Mulan.

Body Features

Pina has a body shaped more like what most humans term a "Chinese Dragon" than the usual dragon visualized in Faerun.

Facial Features

Pina has a short snout and very wide mouth. Here eyes are not as deep set as most Dragonborn. She has a ridge of scales beginning at her brows and heading back until they meet the three horns that curve up slightly at the back of the head. Her cheeks are adorned with a fan of sharp spines along the cheekbone, trailing under her jaw. She has a long neck that is very flexible.

Identifying Characteristics

Pina has supremely dark eyes that contrast strongly with her jewel-tone scales. Her gaze has been known to pull confessions from villains and admirers alike.

Pina is often called a runt by other Dragonborn. She is small and not hefty enough compared to most Dragonborn.

Apparel & Accessories

Pina wears a dark grey cloak with a hood and tail that she keeps up while traveling. She is typically in an outfit any ranger would be happy to wear. She wears a special ring at all times and carries a magical quiver with a strong longbow. Pina's favorite weapon is her Scimitar of Speed. She does not wear boots since her clawed feet are very sturdy.

Pina has Force Breath, Gem Flight and Psionic mind abilities from her Dragonborn ancestry.

Mentality

Personal history

Pina was found as an infant on the beach by an elf noblewoman of House Aendryr. She was raised in the home of the primary House family until, at the age of seven, her family was attacked by mages at their summer home. Everyone was wiped out except for her brother Raloren, who joined the battle as some nearby rangers swooped in and killed all the mages and their undead army. The leader of the small force of rangers was a member of the Harper organization and brought the two children to a family with Harper connections named Wavesilver. Pina spent alot of time helping with work on the docks when she was not training to become a ranger like her savior. After being praised for her swordsmanship, Pina was gifted her magical weapon the Scimitar of Speed. She has named it Kavreeval (Responsible). Pina is currently working with a caravan known to her Waterdeep family and being paid to escort it to the Ten Towns and back.

Education

Pina has been raised in noble households and has a life-long education in multiple languages, readings, and weaponry. She has worked with the sailors at the docks and worked with the merchants in the warehouses. She has ranged and melee weapon training.

Employment

Pina has worked for her family in Waterdeep since she was old enough. She is currently working on a caravan as escort.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Pina is known for her ability with green and growing things. She gained a reputation for being able to help farms raise their yields quickly and prevent conflict between local wildlife and farmers or sailors.
Pina won awards for her swordsmanship while learning to use the popular sailor sword called the scimitar. Her family gifted her with a magical Scimitar of Speed after this.

Failures & Embarrassments

Pina considers her first families' deaths to be partially her fault and is haunted by dreams of mages wielding necromantic power.
Pina is not as strong physically as other Dragonborn and is often teased about it when she encounters them.

Pina is not strong when it comes to book knowledge, even if she can read the languages. She prefers to obtain her knowledge in person.
