Brytha was the firstborn of two children in the city of Virifell. While her little brother went off and played adventurer she was studying politics, and economics, and preparing to take up the mantle of the ruler. She was an odd and quiet child that mostly kept to herself and only shared her feelings with her brother. She loved him dearly and would do anything for him and when he became stricken with the curse of Lycanthropes she was the one that took him to the holy city in search of a cure for it. During this time she struck a bargain with the lord to cure her brother. In exchange for him reaching his goal and saving his beloved, he would cure her brother. She was slightly deceived and was turned vampire and her destiny was shackled to the lords. Another bargain was struck to set her and her brother free once the lord got his way and this agreement was signed in blood and contracted with forces beyond this plane of existence. Today she runs the city of Virifell assisting however she can to hurry up and help the lord find a cure for his own ailments. She is cold, calculating, and ruthless and uses her spawn Thames to do her bidding.

When the events of When All Else Fails occurred, she went into hiding and researching in the depths of her keep with the remains of her brother's body and the Soil technology that Riament Grangerford had left behind. After years of trial and error, she was able to bring her brother back from the dead without the curse.
