Waynn Dakath is a slim wiry boatman who abandoned the river to become an adventurer in Nuln. He is a crack shot with a crossbow but not too bright leaving most of the important decisions to others. He is devoted to Eilwyn the elven mage and tends to follow her around wherever she goes.

Waynn was working on his families river barge when he met Eilwyn and the rest of an adventuring party bound for Nuln and made the fateful decision to leave home and join them on their adventures.  His brother Nyden was the eldest son in the family and had therefore would inherit the boat when hi9s mother died and so he realised he had no real future if he stayed on the barge. 
 
He, therefore, took the bold decision to leave and join the adventurers in the hope of becoming rich or at least earning enough money to buy his own boat and start his own family business.
