Taking an opportunity to escape, he is now a “freelance consultant” taking legitimate contracts but also selling items on the black market. He also buys "junk" that he can flip for a tidy profit. And, due to his First Aid skills, he is often paid "under the table" by smugglers who can't go to a public med-center. This affords him an economically “comfortable” lifestyle.
He officially joined the Alliance after seeing the Rebellion treats its "parts" (people) with more value than the Empire ever did. He's looking for a permanent crew to serve as his "Armor."

Mentality
Personal history
Click was raised in a clinical, high-security Imperial enclave where his parents (M): Klitcha and (F): Zittr'x worked as contracted architects. They spoke to him in strings of efficiency data rather than affection. They were "Company Verpine," content to live in the sterile math of the upper spires. They viewed Click’s fascination with the "Lower Decks" and organic behavior as a biological malfunction, leading to a cold, distant relationship before Click was conscripted.
In the Lower Decks, he was "adopted" by Vax, the owner of a black market "refurbishment" shop. Here, he developed his skill at utilizing his micro-sight as an "organic scanner" for sales and negotiations.
He was later conscripted into a Military Technical Service Battalion. It wasn't a choice, but it was a masterclass in survival. He received formal training to defend Imperial repair depots on hostile frontier worlds. He refined his Droid Programming/Repair and First Aid skills, but was often tasked with orders causing lasting trauma; with a final straw taking action to escape.
He currently maintains his professional status as a “freelance consultant,” but utilizes his skills to "reallocate" client resources, profiting on the black market. In addition, tech refurbishment and organic "repair jobs" (black market first aid) provide his economically "comfortable" lifestyle.
He officially joined the Alliance after seeing that the Rebellion treats its "parts" (people) with more value than the Empire ever did. He begins looking for a permanent crew to serve as his "Armor."
Education
- His parent's status, afforded Click the enrollment at a Imperial Technical Preparatory Academy, with advanced subjects as Hyperspace Thermodynamics and Droid Behavioral Logic Matrices. There were very few non-humans. He survived by becoming a "Ghost" in the classroom, sitting at the back and finishing assignments faster than the others so he could disappear before the instructors (or bullies) noticed him.
- The Kuat "Lower Decks": Vax's black market "refurbishing" shop. In becoming the "organic scanner" for negotiations, Vax taught Click that a machine’s hum tells you its health, but a customer’s foot-tapping tells you their budget.
- Military: After Kuat is "reclamated" by the empire. He is forcibly "recruited" into a Technical Service Battalion. After basic training, he was tasked with decommissioning droid units that had developed "anomalies" (i.e. subversive personalities). Because of his hyper-sensitive antennae, he could "hear" the chaotic surges of data and the "panic" in the code as the wipe progressed, inflicting lasting trauma.
- Uprising on Frontier Outpost 4-Alpha: Pinned down during a 72-hour siege, he earned his stripes repairing a defense turret under heavy fire and sprinting between smoking gun-emplacements. This is also where he refined his First Aid, "repairing" organics (soldiers) to keep the "machine" running optimally.
Employment
Click maintains his professional status as a “freelance consultant”. He takes legitimate repair contracts from wealthy merchants or local governors. However, seeing the “inefficiency” and “wasted assets,” he uses his skills for “resource reclamation,” replacing high-end parts with his refurbished ones, and reselling the others on the black market. This affords him an economically “comfortable” lifestyle. He also often frequents scrap yards and droid repair shops to buy "junk" that he can flip for a tidy profit. And, due to his First Aid skills, he is often paid "under the table" by smugglers who can't go to a public med-center.
Accomplishments & Achievements
- Detected a microscopic fracture in the cooling rods of an orbital dry-dock. With Vax, uses the information to short-sell shipyard stocks. Dock failure. Profits enough to buy professional-grade toolkit and independence from parents.
- Accepts a contract to refit a fleet of merchant haulers. Replaces high-grade Corellian power converters with refurbished "Standard" models. Resells Corellian tech on the black market for a major profit; provides economically "comfortable" lifestyle and a private "nest egg" of untraceable credits.
Failures & Embarrassments
Click attempted to "reprogram" a scavenged Imperial Security Droid to act as his personal bodyguard. He missed a hidden logic-trap in the sub-processor. He was forced to dismantle his "creation" while it attempted to attack him. It left him with a deep distrust of "automated security".
Mental Trauma
Droid Mind Wipes: while in the Military, Click was forced to "lobotomize" droids that had developed personalities and witnessed Imperial war crimes. He still hears the digital screams of those droids when he works on similar models.
Intellectual Characteristics
- A "pragmatic perfectionist." Almost a high-functioning droid in a biological shell.
- He is calm, methodical, and detached from the organic's "emotional volatility" but exhibits all of their cynicism.
- Because he spent so much time among organics who lie, he is perpetually skeptical, often valuing the "truth" of a machine’s telemetry over a person's word.
Morality & Philosophy
- Empire: "A machine built of fear is inefficient. Fear creates friction. Friction creates heat. Heat causes meltdowns. The Empire is a meltdown in progress."
- Rebels: He respects their "jerry-rigged" nature. He finds their ability to keep X-Wings flying with spit and prayer mathematically impossible, which fascinates him.
- Highly against the destruction of efficiency. Cause of the Imperial trauma (droid wiping).
- Combat Philosophy: He sees it as "messy." But, if he must pull his blaster, he aims for the fastest "shut down" of the threat.

Personality
Motivation
Joining the Rebel Alliance is a "Logic-Gate" decision. The Empire is a closed loop that eventually burns out. The Rebellion is an open-source system that adapts. Choice of the system with the better long-term uptime.
Vices & Personality flaws
- Obsessive Optimizing: He can’t leave well enough alone. He might delay a departure because he’s convinced he can squeeze 2% more efficiency out of the fuel injectors.
- Transactional Morality: Because of his "Double-Dip" lifestyle, he initially struggles to do anything purely out of the goodness of his heart without calculating the "credits-per-hour" value.
Personality Quirks
- Ultrasonic "Clicking": When he’s deep in thought or working an issue, he subconsciously emits a series of rapid-fire, high-frequency clicks and chirps as if thinking out loud. It is very faint, but can sometimes be heard if nearby.
- The "Humm-Tester": He often presses his antenna against bulkheads or droid casings to "listen" to the vibration, humming along to match the frequency when he’s thinking.

Kuat Drive Yards (KDY)
Contacts & Relations
Click likely has a "Ghost Hive"—a group of fellow expatriate Verpine techs scattered across the sector. He doesn't have a "nuclear family," but he feels a dull ache of "RF silence" where his hive’s collective consciousness should be. He likely keeps listening for news of his old Kuat shipyard "clutch-mates."
Wealth & Financial state
His "comfortable" economic situation not withstanding, for security, he rarely carries more credits than necessary. Except, for large, pre-determined purchases.
Family Ties
Parents were "decommissioned" (imprisoned or killed) by the Empire while Click was stationed during military service.
Social Aptitude
Mannerisms
Hobbies & Pets
He believes his value is tied to his utility; he will always be reviewing diagnostic reports or tinkering, trying to "optimize" components further.
