An adventurer from another time and place. Brach is an oddity in the world of Illium (continent). He was born in another world as a part of the peasantry. He developed skills as a street performer that eventually earned him recognition. It also earned him the heart of one Heather, the daughter of Lucien Steinbeck, Archmage of the region. Lucien did not approve of Brach's love for Heather.
 
Brach did not remember how he arrived in Illium at first, awaking one morning both trapped in a magical mirror and newly capable of the fearsome power of a wild magic sorcerer. Brach was found by Arghbahd al Rastin while the scholar was traveling north, before eventually joining up with the adventuring party in Brown Town.
