The owner of the Tavern of the Rising Sun, Ogden came to Tristram during the reign of King Leoric, believing that the monarch would bring prosperity to the region. Even when things turned dark, however, Ogden and his wife, Garda, knew they were too heavily invested in the inn to move away, and so resigned to stay. Ogden tries to stay cheerful and friendly, despite the events going on around him, but is plagued by an anxiety that he can never fully conceal.
