Specialized Equipment

Western Style Hat: brown, sun-beaten wide brimmed hat, worn low just over his gaze- with a single bullet hole piercing the upper portion. Hat band of two leather braided cords securing red and black striped feather of a wood pecker.

Katana: the grip is 10 inches, wrapped in silver silk cord braided in a diamond pattern, sun-faded yet vibrant. The guard is a circular silver disk met by sheath crafted from sun-bleached desert sandal wood, lacquered in a dark-brown finish. The pommel is a small, faceted orb of amethyst, carved into a miniature star glowing faintly with an inner violet light. When drawn- the blade looks as if it just appears in his hand. The blade itself is 28 inches long, forged from mithril, giving it a blue-white sheen that catches sunlight like a mirror. The metal is etched with faint, flowing runes along the spine—stylized starbursts and rays spiraling like a cosmic wind, glowing softly with a voilet hue. The edge is razor-sharp, polished to a near-translucent clarity. Every curve and detail of this master-crafted blade matches the temperament of its wielder: elegantly efficient deadliness—as if it its existence is an extension of Coz's will.

Belt: Western style tooled leather gun belt- 1.5 inches in width with intricate leather tooled designs of a desert landscape, moon, and stars along its length. Clasped by a large oval, silver buckle with 7 stars of of moonstone.

Mentality

Personal history

Coz's father was a prominent Cormyrian trader that was passing through Cormanthor forest with a trade envoy when he encountered an unusually friendly roving band of copper elves.

His fathers unquenchable desire to bareback pointy-ear maidens resulted in his unplanned conception. His mother, a comely copper elf named Sylvara Thistlewind knew her son would never be accepted by her purist hunter tribe. She made the difficult decision to take him to a monastery of those dedicated to Mystra(the Lady of the Weave)- a home to The Order of the Mystic Fire hidden deep within the Cormanthor Forest .

Coz found peace growing up at the monastery diligently performing mundane duties of service to the monastery such as cleaning the stables and assisting the blacksmith. It was through this early service where he learned the value of discipline, prudence, justice, and service to others. When Coz reached the age of 21- he was taken under the tutelage of a master knight from The Order of Mystic Fire, named Aeloria Starblade.

 Aeloria is a lithe moon elf with pale, silvery-blue skin, long silver hair, and piercing blue-green eyes that shimmer like starlight. She holds a unique interest in exotic blades, and is an elven weapon master of the katana. She wears mithril elven chainmail engraved with lunar motif's and emblazoned with the 7 stars of Mystra on the chest.

Under his apprenticeship to Aeloria- Coz honed his skills in swordsmanship, blade craft, meditative focus, philosophy, arcana, planar knowledge, use of magic items, acrobatics, and use of sensory perception to that of near supernatural levels. After a decade of training, trials, and adventuring with Master Starblade- Coz earned his knighthood with The Order of Mystic Fire.

As a newly knighted member- Coz set out into the Dalelands to serve Mystra and her order.

Recently, Coz spends his daylight hours in secluded meditation, practicing his sword forms, training his mule, and helping Shadowdale’s citizens with pro bono weapon smithing and tool repair. His evenings are spent in the Old Skull tavern drinking fine mead, eating psychedelic mushrooms, and talking philosophy with anyone that will share a table. More than anything, Coz loves fantastic challenge and unravelling mysteries lurking within the depths of time and space.
